God’s way is a spinning wheel of giving and receiving. God gives, and God trusts what He gives to those who do not let the gift stop with them. The gift of salvation is not the only gift God has given; the gift for every generation is the Holy Spirit, not as a doctrine, not as a feeling, not as something to sit in, but as a real person sent to empower ordinary people.

Acts 1:8 says the Holy Spirit gives power so that believers become witnesses. Acts 2:38 says the promise is for children and for those far away, all whom the Lord calls. The text does not leave the early church in the past like something to admire from a distance. The same Holy Spirit who moved then is still here now, in the church today, one hundred percent, not ten percent.

The Holy Spirit knows everything. He convicts sin, guides the church, and exposes what is hidden, like He did with Ananias and Sapphira. His presence is not a show, and His work is not mainly to make people feel good. Church is not about being entertained or pampered. Church is about being empowered to preach the gospel and live the word.

Ananias in Acts 9 shows what this looks like. God sent an ordinary man to Saul, a dangerous man, even when Ananias did not feel qualified and did not understand why God would save such a person. The Spirit sent him anyway. That is the pattern: God gives an assignment before a person feels ready.

Miracles, healings, signs, and gifts follow the gospel, but they are not the agenda. The agenda is the Great Commission. Some struggles may not be removed because God may use them to mold and forge a life. Grace can come into pain like strength greater than the problem, giving peace even when the problem does not vanish.

Awareness creates responsibility. Once the church knows the Spirit empowers ordinary people, the church cannot simply sit, watch, and compare. Knowing Jesus is not the finish line; it is the beginning of the work. God does not fill the qualified. God qualifies those He fills. The Holy Spirit is for sons and daughters, old and young, not the spiritual elite. The call is to stop worshiping gifted people and to open the heart for God to use the disqualified, the weak, and the ordinary for His glory.
