### Quotes for Outreach
1. "Getting the gospel right matters. What we believe about the goodness of Jesus matters. We are relentlessly committed in word and deed to make sure that our church, internally and externally, gets the gospel right. You think, well, what happens? What happens if we get the gospel wrong? The message of the gospel, the good news of Jesus, the virgin birth, he really was born of a virgin, not like you and I were born, because if he had been born like you and I were born, he would have a sinful nature. He does not have a sinful nature, did not. So, he died for sinners, though he was not a sinner. He lived a perfect life."

2. "The hope of Christianity is that three days later he, he resurrected. And he appeared to many people for several days, weeks, and then he ascended to the Father, Acts chapter 1, verses 8 through 10. And the Bible says he's going to come back. Getting that message right is not just, hey, you know, hey, that's great. If you get the gospel wrong, you're talking about it. Eternal separation from God. You say, man, that was like, that's heavy. It is heavy."

3. "Not only is it the message by which you can know God and be reconciled and be redeemed and forgiven of your sins, and the message by which will usher you into a real place of eternal joy, but it's also the message by which we order our lives, which you flourish. How do you flourish as a man, woman, boy, or girl? By yielding and aligning your life to the truth of Christ."

4. "The person said, if you go against the grain of the universe, you're bound to get splinters because we live in God's universe. And so getting the gospel right is massively important. And as we stand on the word, one of our values, what is fundamental and foundational is the gospel, the good news of Jesus, the message of Christ."

5. "Jesus even said, hey, I came not to baptize. Paul says, I came not to baptize, I came to preach. Paul said elsewhere, I decided to know nothing among you except Christ Jesus and him crucified. He's not saying, I don't know other things. He's not saying that other things are not important, but he's saying the most important truth, the most important reality is the message of Jesus."

### Quotes for Members
1. "Hey, this morning, I think this is a very simple message. I think this is perhaps one of the more important messages I've preached. I've been preaching here as the lead pastor for the last several years, been on staff since January of 2019. So I've preached a lot of messages, and I think the content of what I'm preaching on, though it's very elementary, is the most important message, and I think it's one of the more important sermons that I'm going to preach. So I'm really grateful that you're here. I pray that you're encouraged, challenged, and refreshed."

We underestimate that a lot, but he never sinned, never got mad, never was jealous, never lusted, never was bitter, resentful. He goes to a sinner's cross. The weight of the Father's wrath against sin is poured out on Jesus. He is, he's crucified, he's in the tomb for three days, and the hope of Christianity is that three days later he, he resurrected."

5. "And a friend of mine has characterized this once-a-year meeting as kind of like one large, big, dysfunctional family reunion. And so I'm really looking forward to going. It's going to be a lot of fun. And so we're going to go this next week, and so we're excited about that. But you, as our church, Graceland Church, if you give here financially, you actually partnered. Last year, there was almost 700 churches planted across the United States. We have over 4,000 full-time missionaries in a lot of denominations, not throwing shade on other denominations, but in our particular denomination. Denominations don't save people, just the way in which we're articulating our faith. Our particular denomination, when you, let's say, Robert and Samantha want to go to Uganda to be missionaries, we provide the salary. We provide, our convention provides the health insurance and dental insurance and vision insurance and a car and a house so that you can be focused on the mission, not worrying about raising funds every so often. And so that's what we do. We have over 4,000 full-time missionaries all over the world. And so we don't spend a lot of time talking about that, but our church is part of that, and you really are making a difference all around the world for Jesus. And so I'm grateful for you and the generosity of our church."
