53s
“All that wisdom that you've gathered along the way, how could it be an inspiration to someone who didn't know that such things could be done? when we're talking about a community, We know that there are specifically gifted people that may not even recognize the gifts that they have, but we can encourage them to provide what we already know is needed within the body of Christ. Because Christianity is group work. And we are, as Paul writes, one body in Christ. And, individually, we are members one of another.”
43s
“So you become transformed for the renewing of y'all's mind and minds. it's saying this is not just individual work. We are supposed to be doing it as a group. But God wants us to have a mind that works together to be transformed into a collective mind with all of our gifts and talents. That's the type of thinking and working that produces a generous ministry.”
55s
“And so the thing is for us is there's this challenge that Jesus puts out for us, that Paul puts out for us. Who do we say Jesus is? Is Jesus that transforming power in our life? That we're okay with being transformed and not conforming to the way the world says we should act. What is our real ID? And can we actually live as real human people full of beauty and flaws, gifts, as well as faults, and embrace it all and say, yes, God made me this way.”
