Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife because she was Barren and the Lord he who was and is and is to come the ever faithful one the one who always is the provider the one who is The Giver of covenants he granted his prayer and Rebecca Rifka his wife conceived. [00:03:25]

Isaac has learned something from Abraham that you need to have a dependency upon the Lord you need to know from the source and the place where all blessing comes all blessing flows and when the Lord blesses versus when the world curses we need to know that we have to become the intercessor. [00:03:53]

God doesn't always go the conventional way we have to be ever listening to the Lord and we have to be willing to be obedient to God and at the same time What new challenges are brought when that happens so in Genesis 25:23 here the she's having a very difficult pregnancy but then the Lord spoke to Rebecca. [00:05:31]

Rebecca raise Jacob and Esau and we saw that she began to favor and love Jacob more than Esau and there's a danger there that we need to realize that just because one child's Destiny has a very specific trajectory or calling we cannot value the other children the other members the other people differently. [00:08:38]

Every child has a purpose every child has a calling every child has their own uniqueness that God has created in them for this world and we can't value one higher than the other you're not supposed to love one greater than the other love is supposed to be unique and distinct and individual. [00:09:37]

The story in Genesis 25:29-34 once when Jacob was cooking stew Esau came in from the field and he was exhausted and Esau said to Jacob let me eat some of that red stew for I'm exhausted therefore his name was called Edom and Jacob said hm sell me your Birthright now. [00:12:37]

Esau said I'm about to die what use is the birthright to me and Jacob said swear to me now yakob said swear to me now so he swore to him and sold his Birthright to yakob then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew and he ate and drank and Rose and went his way thus Esau despised his Birthright. [00:13:08]

How many times have we lost something because we're willing to give up a better thing for something that is temporary instantaneous something that is for the now now and the question is that what we begin to see is how God even works in the midst of These Foolish things unfortunately we know in the story of Yeshua. [00:14:45]

Isaac dug again the wells of water that had been dug in the days of Abraham his father which the Philistines had stopped up after the death of Abraham and he gave them the names that his father had given them now this is a very important thing that we understand from generation to generation. [00:16:43]

Sometimes we live off the blessing of the father but we also must extend we're extending the kingdom we're expend extending what happened if you're simply living a life that has been given to you and just living off of yesterday's Mana yesterday's Revelation yesterday's thing without going forward the Lord has new wells. [00:20:09]

Isaac walked in the faithfulness of Abraham he to who struggled with some of his father's same sins he struggled with which of his sons was going to receive the blessing he knew the prophecy that had been spoken that the older was to serve the younger but in Isaac's heart his heart was still for his Elder son. [00:24:53]

When the blessing goes out Isaac says I cannot take it back Esau comes in crying it's not fair my brother deceived you and he took my blessing he already gets the the birthright which means the double portion of all that Isaac has is to go to Jacob so he lost out on wealth and opportunity. [00:26:38]
