#AbideDaily
“So if you are the kind of person that reads the bible only on Sunday or you don't read the bible at all, You're not abiding. Can you imagine if you plant it you plant a fruit or you plant a tree, and then you uproot the tree? What's gonna happen? It's gonna die. You're not gonna bear any fruit. So abiding means you you're you're there all the time, constantly meditating on the word of God, constantly speaking the word of God. And you may say, is that possible? Thank God for audio Bible. Put it inside your car when you're going out. Let it play around the clock. Rather than listen listening to nonsense, play put the word of God there, and let it pray. Let it pray play all the time and influence how you're, you know, how you think.”

#WordToSpirit
“we talked about memorization, but meditation moves the word of God from your mind into your spirit. And that's where you really want it to be. It's good to have an intellectual knowledge of the word of God, but the letter killeth. The spirit giveth life. The holy spirit resides in your spirit. So you wanna move the word of God from your head, from your intellect into your spirit, and you do that by meditation.”

#AbideIntimately
“Alright? So everything we've done we discussed, meditating on the word of God, memorizing the word of God, approaching the word of God with the right heart, creating a conducive atmosphere, All of that constitutes abiding in in in the Lord Jesus Christ. Now the Hebrew word or the Greek word for abide is may know, and may know means to stay in the same place. So it gives it gives a sense of intimacy. You're not an occasional visitor to the presence of the Lord. You're not an occasional visitor to the word of God. You're there all the time, abiding, staying in the same place.”

#TrialsRevealYou
“So, you know, we never really know. We never truly know who we are inside until we face trials. Before you face trials, you probably think I'm very spiritual. I know the Bible. I can never do stuff like this. You never really know until you face trials. And I often wonder that when two believers go through the same trial, what determines how each of them will respond? So the same trial, the same circumstances, what determines how each of them will respond?”

#AbideForMentalHealth
“So in summary, we have talked about the fact that mental health problems can be triggered by focusing on the wrong things. Garbage in, garbage out, like we said, like, last week. Abiding in the law through consistent practice of spiritual disciplines. Spiritual disciplines means prayer, reading the word of God, meditating, will lead to the production of this fruit of the spirit. And with the fruit of the spirit, fruits like joy and peace will keep our hearts and minds in an increasingly difficult world.”

#FeedFaithNotFear
“So if you're spending all your time feeding your soul with with with fear, you know, negative thinking, when stressors come or when trials come, fear and and negative thinking will be the response to that. And the endpoint of that is the risk of anxiety and depression. If you keep that cycle going, the darkness of depression and anxiety will come. And so we we concluded that our response to life stressors is one of the determinants of the state of our mental health. So that was last week.”

#UseBibleResources
“The holy spirit will not do it for you. You have to go out of your way to find resources to help you understand the word of god. And if you're really serious about knowing the word of god, this is what you should be doing. Many of us know what we do when you're studying for an exam. You get all manner of textbooks to read, but where is the word of God? Why do we do it differently? So we don't have excuses now. Many of these things are free. Download one or two of them from the bible, and you'll be surprised at how your spirit will expand because of the knowledge of word of God.”

#StandOnTheWord
“Rather than becoming frantic or fearful or anxious, I start to quote the word of God. I'm the head and not the tail. Greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even my even my faith. I am the head and not the tail. All shall be well with me. I begin to stand upon the word of God. And the more I do that, the more I develop resilience. I develop the fruits of his feet of joy. I develop the fruits of his feet of peace. And even if the trial goes on for a long time, I will not crash. I won't wind I won't wind up in a psychiatric hospital because I'm developing the fruits of the spirit. That's the first option.”
