#RootedInHealthySoil
“``And this, my friends, changes everything. So the question is not which one to work on. Sometimes we think it's a pick and choose list and we try to determine which one do we need to work on. But that's not the question. The question is, is the root healthy? Is the root rooted or grounded into healthy soil? What goes on down here determines what happens up here? That's the question that we have to ask. In other words, going back to our original question, what am I rooted in? What do my roots go down into? If you are rooted in the right thing, the spirit, Jesus, then all nine will grow and eventually be seen.”

#AbideToBearLove
“When we live that way, we'll never follow through. That's the key. trying harder, but come on, following more closely. Be be in in more communication, in more fellowship, in more communion with the spirit. I need to work on taking a step of love. It's I need to take a step into him which will produce that step of love. Our job is not to produce a step of love. Our job is to take a step into him, and through that interaction, that step of love will be produced. You don't walk in patience. You walk in the spirit and then discover the patience has been growing all along. You just didn't see it. You just weren't looking, but it was growing in you the whole time.”

#ReceivingNotPerforming
“We do not produce fruit. Fruit is produced in us, just like a tree. The producing of the fruit is not achieving its remaining. It's not something that we do. It's remaining connected to the vine so what flows up from the soil through the vine can come out to us and produce the fruit. receiving, not performing. Man, if we could just get that, we mess it up when we try to perform, when we try to work harder, when we try to do love. We we end up messing it up because then most of the time it's fake. Right? And it doesn't last. It's just a fake fashion of plan pan, and then it's gone.”

#OutgrowDontOutperform
“The fruit overcomes the flesh not by outperforming That that's not how the fruit overcomes the flesh, by by just doing it better, working harder. That that's not how it overcomes it. It overcomes it by outgrowing it. Not outperforming it, outgrowing it, what grows out from the inside of us. And come on, this is the whole key to the fruit of the spirit. If you don't get this, you'll never get the fruit. You'll never see the aspects of the fruit in your life if you don't understand this principle. And the apostle Paul sums it up here.”
