"That is not the way it's supposed to be. And when we live in that and remember that and remember that it's not all the way it should be, just think how much more amazing it is that God just wants to take hostile enemies and makes them beloved children. That's profound. And I think this will lead us into more joy today." [00:02:21] (30 seconds)

"Since therefore we've now been justified by his blood much more than you know much much more how much more would we be saved by him from the wrath of God the wrath of God has poured out on on everybody that is idolaters that are worshiping these other gods we looked at this in Romans chapter one he just steps back if you want to live this way you want to worship other gods you want to look to them." [00:04:17] (29 seconds)

"But the wrath of god is when we worship these other we get we don't thank god we don't appreciate him we don't see him as the fount of every blessing and so the wrath of god is you don't want me i'll step back let's see what happens see what happens and what happens is we get turned over to our own desires and the wrath of God is exposed because he steps back and says well have it your way." [00:08:19] (26 seconds)

"Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is at the center of what God is doing in the world. So if you want to see God, you want to experience God, you want to have a look to Jesus, He is the one. And so just keep your eyes out for Jesus because He's coming after you. How do I know He's coming after you? Because I'm right here talking to you." [00:15:10] (18 seconds)

"Some of you know i'm an adoptive father my wife and i adopted six kids some of you might imagine that you can't just easily bring someone close even if you've got a title now i'm your dad legally you can't necessarily bring them close to your heart willingly on their part right can you imagine that and so you've had these experiences you're like i want to comfort you i want to love you i want to invite you in i want to bring you close and you want to reject me you want to push me away." [00:17:48] (41 seconds)

"now and and we can then become ministers of reconciliation we can as this god you know the second corinthians 5 as if god is making his appeal through us be reconciled to god well how would i do that do i have to clean myself up do i have to be good enough no look to jesus confess allegiance to jesus god appoint people to the cross and so we can be people that have peace with god and people who can offer peace with god we experience his peace we are agents of of his peace." [00:24:57] (34 seconds)

"Think about that with me. So as we get into our new year, January is almost wrapped, wrapped, and we're thinking about now a life. What is the life in Christ? Let's think about how we've been drawn close and sent wide and we no longer fear God's wrath. We could just, I hope you've been doing this, just stare into the beautiful glowing orb in the sky and the sunshine, just stare in his face and just accept his pleasure over you because of your allegiance to Jesus." [00:38:55] (34 seconds)
