Our early experiences of loss and abandonment can often lead us on a quest for belonging and identity. Many people spend years searching for a place where they feel truly accepted and loved. However, true belonging is found in God, who offers us a place in His family. He provides the love and acceptance we seek, filling the void left by earthly relationships. By embracing our identity as children of God, we can find peace and security, knowing that we are never alone. [00:26]

Ephesians 2:19-20 (ESV): "So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone."

Day 2: The Destructive Path of Revenge

Acting out of anger and a desire for revenge can lead to devastating consequences. It is essential to seek God's guidance and forgiveness, allowing Him to transform our hearts. My early years were marked by instability and loss, beginning with my parents' divorce and my subsequent search for my absent mother. This quest led me down a path of rebellion and incarceration, where I faced the harsh realities of life without guidance or hope. The loss of my first child and the trauma my daughters endured only deepened my despair, driving me to seek solace in substances and revenge, culminating in actions that would alter my life forever.

In prison, I was confronted with the consequences of my choices. It was there, in the solitude of a cell, that I encountered God. I cried out to Him, promising to serve Him even from behind bars. This marked the beginning of a spiritual awakening, as I immersed myself in the Bible and Christian teachings, finding solace and transformation through the Holy Spirit. Despite the continued trials, including the loss of my mother and daughter, God used these experiences to refine me, teaching me forgiveness and the power of His grace.

Upon my release, I embraced a new purpose, dedicating my life to helping others find the same redemption I had experienced. Managing the Fertile Ground Christian Transformational Center allowed me to witness the fruits of God's work in others, bringing immense joy and fulfillment. My journey also led me to a loving family, where I could finally step into the role of a father, a role I had longed for but was unable to fulfill in the past.

I challenge each of you to seek God earnestly, to study His Word, and to allow Him to reveal Himself to you in new and profound ways. Remember, we are not fighting for victory but from victory, as the battle has already been won at the cross. Embrace the calling God has placed on your life, and let His transformative power guide you to fulfill your purpose.
