#ChangeTheGameToGod
“``here's the problem. We are playing the wrong game. We've got all the new cards. We're sitting at the table. We're on the team, but we're still living like we're playing the other game. It's time to change. It's time to adopt the goals and priorities of God, not just keep living what everybody else is doing. But you can't fix this on your own. He has to fix it for you. Your part to play in this is to humble yourself, it's to submit to God, it's to resist the devil, and to draw near to God. And if you will do that with brokenness, he will change you.”

#MoreGraceSavesMe
“Don't get hung up on this if you see this says one thing and another. It's an honest thing. We we don't know what the answer is, but whatever the answer is, it's true, and we can move forward with it. So what do we do about this? I am a sinner. I have the goals and priorities of other people, of the world around me. What am I supposed to do? Well, good news is James gives us a prescription. Verse six. In spite of all of this, God gives more grace. And my favorite word in this whole thing is more. Because the thing that's going to rescue me from having the wrong goals and priorities, from playing the wrong game, despite whatever cards are in front of me, the thing that's gonna save me from that and make me better while saved is the same thing that saved me in the first place. Grace. You cannot fix this all on your own. There is a part for you to play. But the part for you to play is probably not what you think it is. Instead, He is the one that will change you if you don't get in the way. He is the one that will bring you forward. In the same way that you played no part in your salvation, you play no no part in fixing your very little part in fixing yourself. The grace is what does this.”

#HumbleSubmitResistDrawNear
“But whenever you stay away from God, when you push away from God because it gets convicting to be near God, when you don't put the effort in to fill your life with His voice and His Word, there's a vacant area that he can Satan can move into and he will. So push him out. Now, I'm not listening to this. I know how I'm supposed to live. I I don't know how to do it, but I know it's supposed to be different. I want Jesus to come in here, And I'm gonna work to spend time with, guess what? Satan flees from you. Doesn't mean temptation goes away. Doesn't mean you'll never be tempted to sin. But it means that stops being the only thing that you can hear. So he gives us four things to do. Humble yourself. Submit to God. Resist the devil. Draw near to God. You wanna know what he doesn't say in any of those four things? Fix yourself. Fix your priorities. Fix your goals. Figure out how to do this on your own and do this. No. The way that you solve this problem is not you muscling through the problem. It's all about relationship.”

#BrokennessToWorship
“You gotta be broken over this. If you're not broken over this, you don't realize what you've been doing. He says, I want you to be wretched. I want you to mourn and weep. I want you to stop laughing and recognize the severity of what you've done. Weep. Because Jesus sent himself to die for you and rescue you, and you took advantage of that, and then cheated on him. broken over the depth and depravity of your sin. Humble yourself. Point out how bad you are and how great he is. Honor and worship him. Not just because of what he's done for you but because of who he is. Humble yourself.”
