#StandOnTheRock
“As we get ready to share communion today, I'm gonna ask that you examine your foundation. Let's repent of areas where we've tried to build on shifting sands. We've tried to build on our talent, our charisma, tried to build on the strength of our hand and the width of our mind. Let's make Jesus the foundation of it all. Let's stand on him alone. Let's make him the immovable rock. For we know that storms are coming. We know that trials will have to be faced and battles will have to be fought. Many of us are gonna face circumstances we perhaps never imagined. But if you're if you're firmly upon the rock Christ Jesus, you will not be moved. If you're firmly on the rock Christ Jesus, the storms will not prevail.”

#PresenceThroughPraise
“The climax of our freedom to worship is the manifestation of God's presence. God literally builds his throne and takes up residence within the praises of his people. So exercise your internal freedom. Ask God to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Ask God to sanctify you for the righteous and holy purpose of praise. Forgive those in your life who have wronged you. Choose relationship over rightness. Make a decision that I'm gonna have unity. And when we cast off wrath and doubt and condemnation and we join together in one cord, in one voice, the life altering presence of God will fall and move in this church every time we come together.”

#SavedForPurpose
“And people have said, well, you know, well, you know, you're just preaching works. It's all about works with you, Pat. No. We're saved by the grace of God. But we're saved for a purpose. Are you hearing what I'm saying? I said we are saved for a purpose, and we are saved from something. You say, what are you talking about? We're not just saved from the consequences of sin. We are saved from sin. So what are you talking about? I'm talking about a Jesus that'll take the cuss right out of you. Thank you, Jesus. Somebody give me a little help right there. I'm talking about Jesus that'll take a liar and turn them into a truth teller. I'm talking about Jesus that takes someone that'll break a deal or break a covenant, and he'll make them a covenant bearer. It'll make him someone who's willing to die for the word.”

#PraiseBreaksWalls
“The Bible says, put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, depression, anxieties have to go in the presence of the Lord. When we begin to praise him, the Bible says that they were singing in the prison. And around midnight, the place was shaken and the jail cell was opened up. Amen. There's something about praising god and worshiping god that sets captives free and that brings victory. Amen. The Bible told the people shout and the walls fell down and they went in and they possessed the land. Amen. Whatever is standing between you and what God's promised you, it is your praise, and it is your shout that has the power to tear down those walls and let you take hold of everything that God has promised you.”

#TunedForWorship
“God is trying to get this church in the same key. God's trying to tune some people up. God's trying to get them to realize that nobody's saying you're not a good string. Nobody's saying you haven't been stretched. But until the frequencies match, there will be no song. See, I believe worship works like this. You are the instrument, and the holy spirit is the musician. Yeah. Those that worship me must worship me in spirit and in truth. Amen. Amen. God is trying to turn you into an instrument of worship that brings glory to him. And when we begin to when we begin to prepare our hearts for worship, when we begin to sanctify ourselves for worship, when we begin to guard our hearts from walls and prejudice and animosity, when we begin to guard ourselves against this, we come to the house of the lord and we are all prepared to be an instrument of worship.”

#YieldedToTheSpirit
“But I'm here to tell you, if a group of people actually decided, you know what? It's not about me. It's not about what I want. It's not about the praise I like and my favorite style and being entertained. It's about laying myself on the altar of God and making my available making myself available to the Holy Spirit. That if he wants to sing, I'll sing. If he wants me to shout, I'll shout. If he wants me to dance, I'll dance. If he wants me to lift up my hands and clap my hands, I'm his instrument. He's the musician. Tune me up, Lord. Tune me up.”

#BuildOnTheRock
“Jesus in his sermon on the mount spoke about two builders. One built the house on the sand, and when the storms came, it fell with a great crash. But the wise man built his house on the rock. And when the storms came and when the floods came, the house on the rock stood for him. And today, we look around and see the same thing is true for even our grandest institutions. For our nation, a strong enduring nation cannot be sustained merely by political ideas, by economic strength, by military power, true strength, and lasting liberty are only found when a nation honors the lord Jesus Christ as the ultimate authority in the foundation of our peace.”
