#IdentityNotFailure
“``So I wanna encourage you this morning. Your identity isn't your failure. Your identity is not your guilt. You're not your identity is not an addict. It's not a divorced person. It's not a failure. You're not it's not rejected. It's not condemned. It's not someone that no one believes in. No. It's that you are a child of God. You're forgiven. You're redeemed. You're restored. You're loved. You're chosen. So it's time to get off the boat. Jesus is calling you onto the shore, and he says, son, daughter, there's so much more.”

#GetOffTheBoat
“I need you to get off the boat. I need you to come, and we need to have a conversation this morning on the sand. And so Peter, in a moment of guilt, in a season of guilt, does something that will change his entire life and put together the bridge back into the purpose that God has for him despite the failure, despite the mistake. So this morning, I wanna encourage you that no matter what you've done, no matter what decision, no matter hard headed you've been, God is still on the shore. No matter how many times you've told them no, no matter how many times you fought, no matter how many times you've looked the other way, God is still waiting for you. There's still a bridge to your purpose, but you just need to get off the boat.”

#RestoredByTheFire
“you're like, well, why did they include the word charcoal fire? Because the word charcoal fire is is noted here, and then it's note it's noted earlier in the text when when Peter denies Christ. There's charcoal fire in the smell. You you do you guys know what charcoal can can you tell when it's charcoal fire, when it's a different type of fire? Right? Just like, you know, someone's barbecuing today, right, when you walk outside, and then, like, oh, someone's burning trash. Right? You you know the difference. Right? And and Peter denied Jesus around a charcoal fire. So now Jesus, because he's intentional with everything he does, he restores him around a charcoal fire. This is not Jesus trying to embarrass Peter, but it's redeeming the memory that Peter had of the charcoal fire.”

#GraceTransformsGuilt
“But there's a lot of time we're afraid, and and and this is human. We're scared to try again because of what happened last time. I did this, and I remember what happened. So therefore, if I do it again, my spirit tells me the same thing's gonna happen. But Jesus tells Peter, oh, look. Everything's the same, but this is different this time. Everything's the same, but I'm gonna ask you three times, and you're gonna say, yes. I love you, Lord. Because there's a a a healing, a transformation that needs to take place. So Jesus doesn't avoid Peter's failure, but he transforms it. And this is what grace does for you and I, that he will use your greatest guilt for good if we allow him to.”
