#TurnToChristNow
“``God is not playing around. God is not soft on crime, if you will. And if you remain in a state the ultimate crime is remaining in a state of rebellion against your maker, acting as if you know better than him, or that he doesn't exist, or that you can be good enough to earn his favor, or some other false religion is the answer, that you don't need to agree with him, humble yourself because of what Jesus did. Believe in him to solve your sin problem through his death, burial, and resurrection. If any of those things remain true for you unto death and you go to your death rejecting Christ, then that gets you the second death, eternal death, forever separation from God.”

#EveryoneNeedsGrace
“In Zechariah's earlier vision, the sin of God's people would be taken away by the righteous one, and that is what Jesus does for those who believe in him. It is essential for anyone who desires to have eternal life. I know most of you here in your testimonies, but I don't know all of you or all of your testimonies and or who's watching, but have you realized that every like everyone else, you too have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and that you are guilty before him, that you're under condemnation, you're under a death sentence, and that you need what Jesus did in dying a death that your sin deserved and then rising from the dead, showing God's wrath is satisfied in what Christ did, believing on that and being forgiven and having eternal life.”

#ChristWayOfEscape
“And so this scene from the last of the eight visions is one of the Lord executing judgment, which is still coming. For some, it will be before their death. For others, it will come during the direct great tribulation or when Jesus returns to at the end of it. Regardless, the way of escape, the way of salvation is also prefigured in some of the visions that were given to Zechariah. It is through Christ.”

#SavedAndWaiting
“Many of you here have. Well, praise God. Then just as Zachariah saw in his visions, your sin and the guilt of it has been removed from you. Praise be to God. And one day, he will judge the whole world in righteousness and remove all costs of sin. And we're gonna live in his presence in that environment. And I don't know about you, but it can't happen soon enough. Amen?”

#SabbathRestComing
“So the defeat of the lord's enemies causes the lord to cry out in triumph and causes divine anger to be satisfied, always quiet on the northern front. Then, in someday, again future, especially at the time of the millennial rest that he has promised, not only to the North, but everywhere. Then the Lord's spirit, the Holy Spirit, will be at rest when all the Lord has determined and prophesied up to that point will be fulfilled. Then there'll be rest. It will be the Sabbath rest for the people of God. Just as God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh, setting a in place a pattern for all history, so too there is a coming rest, and it will be glorious.”

#GodsCompleteVictory
“The longer term implications of all this are similar for all the people of God. In association with these visions and the words of the Lord, he will bring about a complete victory, his victory upon this earth. Right? Destruction of all that are wicked and bring forth his kingdom rule. And that is something that we should look forward to. Amen?”

#ReturnAndRebuild
“Certainly, there were some nearer term implications for Zachariah's original audience. This is the historical perspective. The people of Israel who had not long returned from exile. This last vision was a part of eight consecutive visions that painted a picture. And, basically, it's like, listen, I'm at work. I will fulfill all my covenant promises. I will judge the whole earth. My enemies or your enemies will be defeated. I will establish my reign on the earth in your presence. I will send my servant, the branch, who will do this, who will be like king and like high priest. Therefore, return to me. Rebuild that temple. And so this should have provided further motivation to the people to be faithful in that time, and indeed it did. We've already read about that at the beginning of our study of Zechariah.”

#BronzeSymbolOfSalvation
“Bronze is a metal associated with strength and holiness, including in the judgment of sin. Think about this. The bronze serpent in the wilderness that God had Moses set up on the pole after the people of God grumbled against God again, and God sent a a these serpents that were striking them and and killing off some of them, and then he raised up this. He had Moses raise up a bronze serpent on a pole, and if they would look to that, they would be healed, and they were. And we see in the New Testament, that is a prefigure also of Christ who is lifted up as a sin offering, and all who look on him will not perish but have everlasting life. And so the bronze altar also in the tabernacle where the burnt offerings were made as sin offerings. And so these bronze mountains likely represent the sovereign power and the might of the lord coming out to bring judgment.”
