#HiddenTreasureFound
“Because you're not the one that sells everything he has for the sake of the kingdom, Jesus is. And if you shift that mindset, you recognize that he's the one. He's telling them a parable about himself. And I love I love thinking about this scene. I love thinking about him like racking his brain. Like, how can I give you another example? I've already given you these examples. How can I help you understand what I'm trying to say? Oh, I've got it. If you wanna know what the kingdom of heaven is like, if you wanna know what the relationship between the king and his people is like, let me give you an example. It's like a treasure that was hidden in a field that couldn't possibly find itself. And a man went looking for it and he found it. And he was so overjoyed. Oh, I finally found it. And he ran off and sold everything that he possibly could to give it all up for the sake of this treasure that he found in a field.”

#YouAreWorthIt
“Some of you in here, you look at yourself like this, and you wonder and maybe you fear, what if I'm not enough? What if the value that I have is not worth the sacrifice that Jesus made? What if I'm not enough to be worthy of the kingdom? What if he opens it up and sees what's inside? And can I tell you Jesus is not worried about that? Because he knows. From the moment Jesus came, he was on a trajectory to the cross because you're worth it.”

#SurrenderToJesus
“You need to internalize his word a little bit. Probably a lot of it. You need to make intentional time instead of the simple sign of appreciation, I would challenge you, you need to surrender that part of your life to Jesus. The part of you that consistently comes back to this self deprecating lack of value, you need to surrender that Christ. Because if he is the lord of your life and he is saying that you have value, whose authority is greater?”

#YouAreTreasure
“You know what this parable we we talked I told you there's two things we're looking for. What does this parable reveal about your place in the kingdom? You have won. Not because you were able to scrape together enough to buy the ticket, because he did. You are the treasure that he found. Amen? And if you really let that sink in, if you will really take a minute and process that, I promise you, it'll change the way that you look at yourself.”
