We know that our former way of life, the person we used to be, has been put to death. This is not a minor adjustment but a complete crucifixion with Christ. The power that sin once held over you has been broken. You are no longer a slave to your past mistakes, failures, or hidden moments. You have been set free, and that old identity is gone for good. This truth is the foundation of your new life in Him. [03:31]
We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.
- Romans 6:6 (NLT)
Reflection: In what specific area of your life do you most often forget that your old self has been crucified, and what would it look like to live today as if that sin truly has lost its power over you?
God is not interested in the polished, filtered, or "churchy" version of you that you might present to the world. He looks past the exterior to see the real person He created. He cannot heal, fix, or restore the person you pretend to be. His transformative work begins when you come to Him with complete honesty and vulnerability, offering Him your authentic self, flaws and all. [05:09]
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”
- 1 Samuel 16:7 (ESV)
Reflection: Where have you been tempted to present a filtered version of yourself to God or others, and what is one step you can take this week to offer Him more of your authentic heart?
If you have been found by Jesus, you carry a purpose that extends beyond yourself. This is not about a specific personality type but about the overflow of a transformed life. You are a living testimony that God saves, heals, and restores. Your story, exactly as it is, is a vital tool God wants to use to help others find their way to Him. [08:50]
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
- Luke 19:10 (ESV)
Reflection: Who is one person in your life who may feel "lost" and needs to be "found," and how could you prayerfully and authentically share a part of your story with them this week?
The light of Christ within you is not meant to be hidden under the busyness of life or fear of what others might think. You are called to be a visible source of hope and peace in the world. When you walk into a room, your presence, fueled by His Spirit, can actually change the atmosphere and point people toward the Father. [15:14]
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
- Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV)
Reflection: What "basket" (busyness, fear, insecurity) most often tempts you to hide your light, and what would it look like to place your light on a "stand" in one specific situation today?
God is not looking for perfect, polished people to use; He is looking for available and faithful ones. He delights in using willing vessels, no matter how flawed or underqualified they may feel. Your story, your compassion, and your willingness to be interrupted are the very things God uses to bring transformation to others when you rely on His Spirit and not yourself. [29:22]
Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
- Colossians 4:5-6 (NIV)
Reflection: When you last felt God prompting you to step out of your comfort zone to serve someone, what was your response, and how can you cultivate a heart of greater availability to His divine appointments this week?
The message declares that every life is formed with intentionality and a mission: people were not born by accident but sculpted for purpose. Scripture anchors the truth that the old, sinful self has been crucified with Christ, breaking sin’s dominion and calling believers into a new identity marked by freedom, authenticity, and ongoing transformation. Authentic faith refuses the mask of performance; God seeks the real, unfiltered self because healing and restoration require honesty, not a curated image. Found people are those who have been rescued by grace and are compelled to pursue others—this is sending, not mere Sunday comfort. The gospel moves outward: when the love that saved spills over, it fuels stories, courageous conversations, and practical acts that meet people where they are.
Foundness produces a visible light. Believers function as a city on a hill and a lamp on a stand—rooted daily in Scripture so that compassion and clarity flow naturally rather than forcibly. Availability matters more than polish; faithfulness and readiness matter more than rhetorical skill. Real encounters often look messy—awkward conversations, inconvenient timing, imperfect words—but Spirit-made boldness turns those moments into ministry. Hope reshapes presence, speech, and posture; it equips ordinary lives to carry extraordinary transformation into families, flights, workplaces, and neighborhoods. Personal testimony becomes more than memoir; it serves as a survival guide for others, showing that redemption rearranges histories and opens futures. Finally, the call is practical: reconnect, rededicate, or receive Christ—then live as visible testimonies so that others can find the way from brokenness to breakthrough.
That found people find people. That's how God sees people. Lost people aren't less loved. They just haven't been found yet. How many of have some family members that haven't been found yet? That like, you know they've been they've been lost in the world. They've been lost in the chaos of culture. They've been lost in their addictions or whatever they're dealing with. Lost people aren't less loved. They're just not found yet. And when Jesus found you, it wasn't just for you. It wasn't just a forgive you, set you free, and then you keep it to yourself. No. No. So he can work through your life.

You don't have to force boldness. It doesn't have to be tied to your personality. When you walk with Jesus, you don't have to force compassion. You don't have to force empathy for others. It just bubbles up because what fills spills, you'll start seeing people the way Jesus sees them. And when you look in the eyes of people, you've never looked in the eyes of anyone that God doesn't love.
