39s
“As long as you are alive, you are in motion. You're in motion. The Christian life is never a static life. It is a walk. It is a race. It is a pressing forward. There's no neutral gears in the kingdom of God. And so you're either drawing near to him or you're drifting away. And the question is never have I arrived. The question is which way am I facing and which way am I moving? Because nobody has arrived until we see him face to face. Have I got some help in here today?”
47s
“we gotta pay closer attention to what we've heard so that we do not drift away from it. The phrase drift away is the picture of a bird boat that is drifting past the dock. And here's the sobering part. You don't have to row away from God to end up real far from him. All you have to do is stop rowing. Are y'all here today? Drift is the most natural thing in the world. The current handles it. We live in an ocean called life, which is exactly why the scripture warns us to give more earnest heed.”
37s
“Now listen, the Bible says, Enoch walked with God. We're told to walk with God. Walk in the spirit. Walk in newness of life. And here's the simple truth about walking. You cannot walk and stand still at the same time. You know what? I get it. I get it. I get it. You don't like it? Because it's language you've never heard before. You you you've never you've never heard to grow means you gotta do something. You thought just doing just living life, just letting life come was growing.”
63s
“I set her up. I got her water. I served her like she serves me. Like Joe and these guys serve me around here and Ken and different ones, that's the way I served her. Why? Because I honor her. Can we honor one another today? Can we honor one another today? Do y'all know that honor is the currency of heaven? Honor is the currency of heaven. If you don't honor one another, you can't expect God to honor you. Can I tell you what you honor? I'll come back and preach to you about this, but what you honor moves toward you. you dishonor moves away from you. Be careful who's moving away from you.”
