#IdentityInChrist
“``Because the work of Jesus is finished, your identity is no longer something that you have to create or define for yourself. It's not something you have to keep intact by your own performance. You can embrace who he says you are with a certainty that the glorious promises of who he plans for you to become in him is actually your future and you can have it.”

#ResistSpiritualSabotage
“I'm gonna just say this super bluntly. As long as we are in this world, Satan is radically committed to you never reaching your spiritual potential in Jesus. is true and we face that every day. So how do I diagnose the ways that I am still living into my old self so that I can surrender those ways and live into what God has in store for me as his child who has now been made new?”

#HealWoundsReclaimIdentity
“We need to know where we've been wounded and recognize how that has shaped our identity. One of the underlying themes throughout the bible is that we all have a sinful nature that we act out of, but we also learn sin from other people, both through being around certain sinful behaviors and through being sinned against. So throughout the Bible, there's so often times where people are struggling with a sinful pattern and it's so deeply connected to the ways they themselves were sinned against that it's almost impossible separate those from each other.”

#RestInGraceIdentity
“You are invited to live into that and not because it makes God like you, it's because that's who you are. I think sometimes the reason we don't live into the identity that Jesus has for us is because we are so used to receiving things on the basis of our own merit and achievement. And we're so aware of our shortcomings that we never fully rest in the reality that everything God has for you in Jesus is actually yours simply because Jesus has made it so. And that's it.”
