#definedByJesus
“``I can't tell you how many times somebody across from my desk. I I've I've been able to say to them, you're not defined by this. You're defined by Jesus in you. And I so many people that I think just need to hear that. So I'm here today to tell you, if you know Jesus, you are defined by his work in you. You're defined by his finished work on the cross. You're defined by his love for you every day. And no matter what you do, he's never gonna stop loving you. He's always going to be the hand to hold on. He's always going to be the one that will lead you through the challenges of life. You're not identified by whatever else may have happened or is happening. You if you know Jesus, you are identified as a child of God above everything else. Right.”

#dailyRepentance
“We often think about repentance as a singular act of repentance is I'm turning from my sin and turning to God. We tend to think of that as a singular event which we receive Christ, once we become a Christian, once we get saved, we repent of our sin, we repent of our old life, and we turn to Jesus. Now that is absolutely described repentance. it is not the only time repentance should be a part of our life. Repentance is a daily experience. Because as I grow in my walk, he reveals things to me that need to be trimmed away. He reveals things to me that I need to lean into, and that lifestyle of repentance gives me the opportunity and privilege to lean into that so that I can live a lifestyle of repentance. Repentance means that the the activities that I live out during the day, they're an outgrowth of the life that God has led me to. Pulling away the things that don't need to be there anymore and leaning into the things that need to be there more.”

#beAFollower
“You can you can get a rise on people saying, you know, we need to let the Lord be the Lord of this country again, and he didn't get a stand in ovation. And that's great. I don't I don't disagree with that, but I would say, what's more important is not that you're a fan of Jesus, but are you a follower of Jesus? Right. Is he you're born of your life? Is he guiding your decisions? Are you clearing everything through them? Because we don't want a bunch of bumper sticker Christians. We don't we don't need a bunch of T shirt Christians. We don't need a bunch of crosswear, but not cross following Christians. We want people that are really following Jesus. That's who he needs. That's who he wants, and that's where that contentment is gonna come.”

#HeIsComingFollow
“the title of the message today, I I didn't say it at the beginning. I intentionally say it for now. The title of the message today is he's coming. There he is. Follow him. He's coming. There he is. Follow him. And I just thought I could if I could summarize John the Baptist life in three statements, that's what I would I would say. Standing on the banks saying, he's coming. And then when he got there saying, there he is. And then looking at everyone and say, follow him. But you and I, in living in the age since Jesus has come and given himself and died on the cross and resurrected and is living at the right hand of the father, you and I get the privilege of being able to look at people and say, he's coming back. Get ready. Here he is. He's amongst us now, and you and I should follow him. He's coming back. He's here amongst us, and let's follow him.”
