#StepIntoPromise
“Father, thank you for your word and, wow. Thank you for the ninth of Av, the day to step into the promise. Father, I call it up and everyone here, we all have promises we have yet to stand into. We know they're there, but we're afraid because of the giants or we're distracted by the shiny objects. And Lord, those giants are our bread. The storm is an opportunity to walk on water. Help us to reset how we see these things and to bind ourselves to you and not to the problem.”

#StrengthenInTheLord
“David was greatly distressed. That's the beginning of verse 30. It's first Samuel 30 verse six, but he strengthened himself in the Lord. denials. There's a time to grieve, folks. There's a time to be angry. There's a time to go, this just hurts. This doesn't feel fair. This is awful. This is painful. I will strengthen myself. I will bind myself to the Lord, not to that problem.”

#GloryThroughTheStorm
“David had that choice. He could've just said, okay, God. I'm just done. I don't understand it. By the way, his two wives, including the wife, the widow of Naaman, okay, were the ones that were taken. I mean, it's just then he closed it off with this, the storm is not the problem. The giants are not the problem. Those are the opportunities for my glory to break out in, around, and through you. See them rightly. Take control of your emotions and glorify me in the earth this day.”

#AdvanceNotQuicksand
“all of this goes to this, they held back crossing into the promise on this day. So this is part of what he said to me this morning. Do not hold back when I tell you to advance. Do not delay the fulfillment of my desires for you by your emotional quicksand. Do do you understand he's got desires for you to move into more, into new things? And so often, we're like the 10. We're just we're in that emotional quicksand. We gotta grab hold. The reason you saw that picture with the hand reaching down, grabbing the one that was drowning, hasach.”

#FaithOverFear
“But the real issue was not the Giants. Just I'm just pulling this out of what God was telling me before I started to put this together for you. Right? But he was telling me, the issue isn't the Giants. The issue is not the storm. It was not about their cap capabilities. We can't do this. It wasn't actually about that. It was their visualizing a future without God in it. That the same god who saved their sorry asses back there, broke them out of Egypt, went to battle for him. Okay? Fed him, cared for him, dah dah dah dah dah dah. Somehow, he was not gonna be present. And so it was really their emotional response. sorry, but when he throw that line at me about emotional quicksand. Sometimes he throws these little tidbits and I go, okay. You know what I'm talking about? You start to swirl around a little bit of emotional thing and the problem is the more you swirl around at it, the deeper you go. Hard to get out of that.”

#HonestAboutPain
“David was not in denial. David did not simply put on a happy face. How are doing? Oh, great. Less than highly highly favored. Well, you know, and that may actually be true. And, you know, I don't I really I'm not mocking somebody who says that because, I mean, it may really be their state of heart, and they know that. And they've sucked well enough in their in their stuff that they can say that. But unfortunately, a lot of times just it's a cliche. And rather than say, well, it's hit the fan. It's rough but God is good. See, I I'm sorry people. I hate the phrase, it's all good because that's not biblical. It's not all good. Only God is good. Jesus makes it very clear. It's not all good. He'll work it for good, but that's because he's him. And he can take the crap and make it into something amazing. But it's not all good. I I know what people are trying to say, but every time I hear it, I cringe.”

#BindToHimDaily
“Here's the question. How do you do this? When and where? Do you bind yourself to him and not an identified problem or trauma? Do understand this is not a complex kind of thing word I'm putting out for you? It's just the problem isn't the giants. The problem isn't the storm. And do you wait until it hits the fan to try to suck? Or are you constantly in the process of strengthening yourself in the Lord?”

#LookBeyondTheHills
“Raise your eyes to see beyond the hills, beyond the giants, beyond the storms, and beyond the shiny objects of distraction around you. That last one is important, folks. It's not just the fear things out there that do it for you. It's all the little, oh, this, that. Oh, I oh, I should do this. Oh, wouldn't this be good to maybe I should read hello? Nobody here has that problem. Okay. Never mind. Just me. Just mine. Seek me and seek my glory and do not stay in the boat for I am with you.”
