1. "If you're here today, you love Jesus. People that don't love Jesus don't come to church. Well, let me say it this way. If you don't love Jesus, you're with someone who really loves Jesus. All right? So what I want to do is I want to use fishing as an analogy to connect you to the idea of winning the lost. Because I believe, here's my heart, probably not very many people here this weekend that don't love Jesus. But can I tell you, each and every day of your life, you're surrounded by people who don't know Jesus. And it is our responsibility to do our very best to get them saved and born again."

2. "Vision matters. There's number one. There we go. All right. How many of you believe that? Vision matters. Come on, everybody say vision matters. Come on. Here's what I'm going to tell you. Here's the vision I don't want you to have. I don't want you to have the idea that, oh, nobody out there ever wants to accept Jesus and there's nobody out there that has a heart for God and none of that. That's the wrong vision. That's like going to fish with somebody that will get kicked off of my boat."

3. "When I go out in the world, to the world, whenever I live my life and you live your life, we have to go with the mentality of there is someone always out there ready to accept Christ. I just got to go find who that is. Can I get an amen on that? Now listen, well, it's too cold to fish. Now the only time that happens is with, here's my theory, and I get in trouble when I said this in the first service, if there's ice on the water, it's too cold. Why? Because I can't get the boat in."

4. "You have to fall in love with ministering and sharing your faith. And if you catch one, praise God. But if you don't, it's okay. I'm enjoying the fact that I get to minister to somebody else. I'm enjoying the fact that I get to share what I love with somebody else. You have to love that aspect of it. You have to be more in love with that than you do actually catching the fish. And it's a balance whenever it comes to it."

5. "Everyone loves to catch. But. But. You will never be good at catching until you're good at casting. You got to cast to be good at catching. I'll give you an example of how this doesn't work. A few weeks ago, and again, I've been so excited to get this boat restored, I took my grandson and my granddaughter out in it within the first two or three times of it being in the water. The first one was me by myself in case it sunk, all right?"

6. "You must become an expert at the quarry. And what that means is, you've got to know more about that than anything else. I look at my experience of working in a secular world long before I became a preacher, and now I can identify with people. I understand what it means to work midnights. That's terrible. I understand what it means to work 60, 70, 80 hours a week, and then you've still got to go and do life, man. I understand all that. And because of that, I think it's helpful."

7. "You need to know more about fish than the fish know about themselves. You really do. You need to know. Let me give you one example of this. You need to know, and I mean this with everything in me. You need to know that every person on the planet is born with a void in their heart, and that void can only be filled by Jesus. Only Jesus. They can put everything, everything, everything this planet has to offer into that void, and it will never fill it up. Never."

8. "You have to be diligent. You have to go after it each and every day. And I'm here to tell you, thank God for moms and dads and grandmas and grandpas who are diligent about seeing their kids and grandkids be saved, born again, and on their way to heaven. I'm here to tell you, if you have a friend or someone in your life that you've been praying for, don't give up. Never neglect the power of a seed. You know, you don't realize the impact you're making around the people you are around each and every day. You won't know until you get to heaven."

9. "You have to cast with confidence. You have to know what God has done in me. Nobody can deny. So because of that, I have great confidence. I was thinking about it like this. I call it Godfidence. All right. I know we talk about confidence, but I'm not talking about confidence, but I think it's Godfidence. I have confidence in God. I have confidence in what God can do. And I believe with all my heart, God can do big things."

10. "I believe it's our responsibility to win people to Jesus and populate heaven each and every day of our life. And I don't know, I love catching, but I love fishing even more. Praise God. I love fishing. Amen. Amen. So, hey, let me pray for you. You ready? Father, I thank you for each and every person under the sound of my voice. And Father, I pray that we would be fishermen. We would go out and catch people for you and your kingdom, that we would fish for men and women that maybe have given up or maybe have fallen short."
