#FaithfulnessOverSuccess
“``When our race is over, I don't believe the Lord's going to be asking us how busy were you. I don't think the Lord is going to be saying and asking how successful were you how many things were you able to accumulate in your life? It's just gonna be one simple question, but an important question. Were you faithful? Not perfect, but faithful. And and there's a vast difference between success and faithfulness. Faithfulness isn't built in one extraordinary decision. Faithfulness isn't built upon one lion den experience. It's built through thousands of ordinary faithful steps.”

#PrayerReorients
“Every time Daniel came to that window, he was quietly saying, Lord, I will still trust you. Every prayer became another reminder that God was worthy of Daniel's confidence. Every act of thanksgiving reminded him that god's faithfulness had not changed when Daniel's circumstances had changed. You see, every time he knelt, his heart was being reoriented toward the lord. And perhaps that's why Daniel didn't panic when the decree was signed. He simply continued doing what he had always done. Daniel's circumstances had not changed. Excuse me. His circumstances had changed, but god had not changed.”

#BuiltAtTheWindow
“These moments may not seem particularly significant on any day, but over time, god uses them to shape our hearts. then when the unexpected comes and how many know that the unexpected does come? Does. When the unexpected comes, we discover that god has been preparing us all along. Daniel didn't build his faith in the lion's den. God had already been building his faith at the window.”

#PrayerAsRelationship
“Daniel didn't go to that window because he was trying to earn god's favor. He didn't pray three times a day because he was checking off another spiritual discipline that I've done I've done this today. He went there because over many years, he had learned that meeting with god was the most important part of his day. And somewhere along the way, prayer had become much more than just a religious obligation. It had become a relationship with Yahweh, with the god that he served.”
