1. "The God that created us, the God that is here amongst us, the God that is reading the feelings, thoughts of each and every one of us, that has read every feeling, every thought, seen every tear, knows every desire, that God, regardless of who you are, where you're at in life, He absolutely wants you to be happy. He has no shame in that desire at all."

2. "None of us, none of us in this room are as happy as we would like to be. If we were honest, we could all be just a little bit happier. Couldn't you? Couldn't you just be, wouldn't there be one or two things that would make you a little bit happier? I think if we were honest, we'd all say yes. None of us are ultimately and perfectly happy yet. We all want to be happier."

3. "All of us can still be perfectly happy. This is the promises that we have in Christ, the creator of the universe, the one that came and visited this planet, revealed what God is really like to us. He died and he rose again. And because he rose again from the grave, he promised that he will build a world, build a kingdom that will last forever, in which everyone in that world will be perfectly, ultimately, and perfectly happy forever."

4. "You can't, I can't, we can't be as happy as we really, truly, deep down inside want to be. Maybe we can't articulate it, but we can't be as happy as we want to be unless we become somebody a little different than we are, a better version of ourselves. That's a helpful way to look at it."

5. "We pursue happiness. We can't help it. It's wired. It's spiritual design, spiritual DNA that's inside us. So the bad news is none of us are as happy as we would like to be. There's nothing to feel bad about. It's just a bit of honesty. We could all be a little happier. Good news is this: all of us can be happier than we are now."

6. "If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace and work to maintain it. Notice peace is not going to be something that comes easy. Peace is a relational term usually, and it's something that we have to work at, and then once we have it, we have to work hard to maintain it."

7. "Each day, am I facing situations with Christ, meaning I'm living in union with Him, I'm made by Christ and for Christ? Am I living for Christ? Everything I do, I'm doing it because I want to please Him, I want to honor Him, I love Him. And am I living every day seeking to be more like Christ? This is a key to being happier. Trust me on this one. If you and I will live every day with Christ, in union with Him, and will live for Christ, to please Him and honor Him and obey Him and try to live more like Him every day, you watch my words, your happiness quotient will go up. You will be happier."

8. "God does not see any problem with our eternal happiness and our eternal holiness because, in fact, you can't be eternally happy unless you're eternally holy. You can't be eternally happy unless you and I are finally transformed to the image of Christ, which is exactly what God promises He will do for anyone who in this life makes the decision to put their trust in Christ and become His follower."

9. "My purpose is to give them a rich and a satisfying life. Some versions say an abundant life. In this life, I can be happier if I know God intends me to have a rich and a satisfying life, a meaningful life. But that does not mean a trouble-free life. You can have a rich and a meaningful life even in a trouble-filled life if that's the kind of the pathway that God gives to you. He gives some of us more difficulties than others, to be quite honest."

10. "So as we leave here today, I want you, and God more importantly wants you, to be happier than what you have been. And I can, and you can, and we can be happier. 25% He puts in our hands. So as we leave here today, do you want to be happier? Because God, your Father, He really wants you to be happy. He loves you, and He knows what's best and wants what's best. He wants your ultimate and your perfect happiness, but He even wants you to be happier in this present imperfect set of circumstances we're in."
