“``When we get back to a place where we say, god, I'm I'm so exhausted from trying to serve all of these masters, all of these people. I I can't do this anymore. I just wanna serve you. I don't know what decisions you gotta make. I don't know what kind of things you're wrestling with. I don't know what kind of direction you're seeking for, but I truly believe that when you come before god humbly like that and you start to pray, god, how do I please you? He's gonna speak to you. He's gonna tell you. He's gonna show you. He's gonna meet you. The questions that you're asking, the directions that you're seeking for, god's gonna give them to you. He's gonna bring you to places in his word that say this this is the road I need you to walk down. He's gonna send people in your life to speak direction and bring clarity. The benefit that you're gonna receive from that, the blessing you're gonna receive from that is there is so much pressure that is lifted off of us when we set aside the expectations of everybody in our life, and we just take on the expectations of Jesus.”

“But when we make our primary objective to be in the will of god, he will lead us down a path that makes us the best spouse, the best parent, the best child, the best leader, the best employee that we could ever be. He knows what your family needs. He knows what he expects you to be for them. He knows what kind of employee you need to be. He cares for the people you care for even more than you do. And so all of these things that we're like, no. I I've gotta do better for this person and for that person and for this per we're never gonna make them happy if that's our primary objective. But when we say, Lord, I just wanna please you. I wanna be the man you want me to be. I ladies, you you say, I wanna be the the woman you want me to be. And we begin to do that. Then all of a sudden, we become the best versions of ourselves that we can be for all those other people that we care so much about.”

#BibleIsMyMap
“You know what the first thing I did was? I found out where I was gonna be hunting, and I bought a map because my phone's probably not gonna work there. I bought a map, and I laid that map out because there's a lot of places in that wilderness. You can't just strike off and start walking west. You're gonna walk right off a cliff somewhere. You're gonna walk in into some kind of gorge, and and it's gonna lead you into danger. That map, I'm able to lay that out, and I'm able to say, okay. Look. There's roads that lead from here to here. There's paths that have been established from this point to that point, and that'll get me to an area where I can I can safely go into this part of the wilderness tonight? And that's what the Bible does for our life. We lay that out. And and though it might not tell you, you know, to wear the blue shirt tomorrow, it is gonna show you where the roads are. So, oh god, what's your will? This is the foundation for god's will. It identifies where the roads are and allows you to see the destination of each one of them.”

#ChooseGodsRoads
“There are some roads that are gonna be made available to you that are not roads you wanna walk down. There are gonna be opportunities that present themselves because opportunity is always a good thing. Right? Wrong. The Bible's gonna illuminate. Sometimes, there are gonna be opportunities that are presented to you and you're like, man, this looks so good. I could make so many people happy. I could accomplish so many of my goals. But when I get into the word of god, it tells me that that opportunity is gonna lead to destruction. I don't wanna go down that road. I don't wanna get down that road and then start praying for the will of god. He's like, okay. I don't know if you remember when the GPS first came out. Its favorite thing to say was make a U-turn. Make a that's how people live life sometimes. We just wander down whatever road we wanna walk down, whatever makes us feel good, and then when trouble arises, we're like, oh god. Well, what's your will? Like, make a U-turn. Turn around. We make our way back. The word of god lays all of that out. It makes it plain. It makes it clear.”
