And the only difference is um they follow Christ but they're looking for all the same answers they they follow Christ or they profess faith in Christ but man they they still feel unloved and they still wrestle with with bitterness and for in in unforgiveness and they they want some answers as to why certain things happened in their life or how do I navigate this particular season of my life. [00:31:59] (28 seconds)

An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, Get up and go south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. So he got up and went. There was an Ethiopian man, a eunuch, a high official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of her entire treasury. He had come up to worship in Jerusalem and was sitting in his chariot on his way home, reading the prophet Isaiah aloud. [00:35:47] (30 seconds)

The Spirit told Philip, Go and join that chariot. And when Philip ran up to it, he heard him reading the prophet Isaiah and said, Do you understand what you're reading? Well, how can I, he said, unless someone guides me. So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. And now the scripture passage he was reading was this. [00:36:32] (22 seconds)

The eunuch said to Philip, I ask you, who is the prophet saying this about? Himself or someone else? And Philip proceeded to tell him the good news about Jesus, beginning with that scripture. As they were traveling down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, Look, there's water. What would keep me from being baptized? [00:37:13] (22 seconds)

It doesn't matter if you're a non-believer or if you are a believer. It doesn't matter if you're far from Christ or if you know Christ. If you are a seeker today, you need to know, I'm going to let you know just what you should expect from the Lord. Now you need to understand that in order for us to understand this good news today, we have to understand the work of the Holy Spirit. [00:37:50] (25 seconds)

The Holy Spirit will find you he will find you and you need to know the Holy Spirit next will guide you to the truth this should not surprise us John chapter 16 verses 13 through 14 Jesus says when the spirit of truth comes he will guide you into all the truth for he will not speak on his own but he will speak whatever he hears he will also declare to you what is to come. [00:44:56] (28 seconds)

The Holy Spirit, again, will replace your grief with joy. Just take a moment and go back into the text. I'll touch on the first part of 39, but go back for a moment. The eunuch, just a few moments ago, was confused. He had questions. He didn't have answers for and now he's he has professed his faith in Christ and the text says he's gone back to Ethiopia in rejoicing. [00:58:48] (26 seconds)

philip came out of the water notice the spirit of the lord carried philip away don't think about this it's like some mystical thing like philip just like dissolved like a ghost and then he just reappeared somewhere no no no philip knew when he brought him out of the water it was time to go because the holy spirit told him to and he left and he went down to what was former palestinian or actually was currently palestinian territory. [01:02:34] (26 seconds)
