"Indeed, Father, Your faithfulness is greater than our expression of thanksgiving can give. You have been faithful to Your Word, to Your heart, to Your being. You saw our need, and You sent Your Son to do for us what we could not do for ourselves. To take our sin upon Your cross and to chart a way home where we are made into a new creation. Worthy for Your table. Each day we sense Your presence. In our wandering, Your hand to lead us back. In our cold, dark night, Your light to warm our hearts. Remind us that all is well. You are faithful." [00:18:14] (61 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

"And so that's what happens sometimes when we're, like, we feel inside that we're, like, weak, and we can't do what we know what we're supposed to do, and we feel, like, maybe hurt or sad. We can pray, and as we pray, Jesus strengthens us inside in a place that we can't really understand, and we have a peace. Let's pray. Dear Jesus, thank you for strengthening us when we are weak. Amen." [00:25:34] (31 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

"Paul talked about it. He had seasons where he was hungry and didn't have enough, and other seasons where he had plenty. Somehow he said, I had contentment. I'd learned a secret. And so there's something he's wanting to reveal. He's wanting to reveal what the secret is. And the secret is something that we learn, just like we learn to walk." "He says that there's this thing that he can do, that whatever, wherever he's at, there's this strength he finds to be able to be steady, to not be deflated in depression during difficult times or inflated with pride and arrogance in the good times. That there's this strength that he finds in Christ that he finds contentment." [00:33:49] (27 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

"There's a moment where the reality of who Christ is and his love for us intersects with our soul, and he warms our soul. He reminds us in a concrete way that we are loved, we're cared, we're his. His very presence brings contentment, stabilizes us, gives us peace." [00:35:53] (29 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

"And when we come here, we get contented. There's something strong that happens. The reality, the reality of his love for us and his promise for us becomes real, and it ministers to the deep part of our soul, and we're changed. It changes us. Worship changes us." "And Paul is saying, listen, the place where all this gets settled is when I get into the very presence of Christ and I realize that I have the one thing that this world can never give me. Unconditional love from the author of the universe who cherishes me, who died for me, who lives for me, and is calling me to be a new creation." "And you know, this is something you learn as you walk in Christ, that there's this incredible resource in him that provides for you in the moment where he's called you. And when I reflect back on my life, I realize that's so true, and it's something that, like a toddler, you learn as you step out into it." "Because as you step out, God steps in and you begin to see heaven intersect in your life. In your ministry. And great things happen. You walk on water. And that is joy. That is joy. I look back at my life, the moments where I had courage and stepped on water. Joy." [00:52:24] (23 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

"Help us to come into your presence and to find our peace, contentment, refuge, strength, rest. We pray, Lord, that this good news that you've given us and we experience it time and time, day and day in and day out, we pray that we could be ambassadors for you to help people to also experience the good news that's found in Jesus Christ."
