#StopRobbingGod
“That's a scary portion of scripture. God is speaking to an entire nation. He goes, you've robbed me. Let's talk about what robbing is. If you if you come up here after service today and you grab this bike, you put it in the back of your vehicle, and you go home, and you and you use it like it's yours. Yeah. I didn't give you permission. You didn't buy it from me. I didn't willingly give it to you. You took it, and you used it. What's that called? Stealing. And god's going, hey, you know that 10% that I said to set to the side because it's mine that you refuse to give back? Welcome to robbery.”

#SteerYourMoney
“And I'm not telling you you're never gonna have a tight budget. My God, I wish that was true. Nobody that's ever ran a budget, nobody that's ever ran a business has ever gone, you know what? I've never had to tighten the budget. There's seasons. There's moments where you can go a little looser and there's moments where you gotta really tighten in and be like, we ain't doing nothing. Right? It's across the board but there's all god's going, hey, I have a way for you to do this and my goal today is that you learn and god's goal is that you learn to steer your money so your money doesn't steer you. That you learn that this is my life, my finances, whatever, and if I keep my hands on the handlebars, I can steer this thing in the direction of where God wants it to go, but it's not gonna happen by hope and want. Hoping is only an idea with no plan. Somebody needs to write that down. But when I put a plan to it, I can keep my hands on the handlebars and go, alright God, where are we going?”

#PracticeSelfControl
“Here's what the Bible says in Proverbs twenty five twenty eight. If you don't practice the fruit of the spirit of self control, you're as susceptible and you're as let you're you're as as wide open to attack as a city that has no way to protect itself. Self control is not just about going, hey, you stay out of my life and I'm cutting off that fridge. Here's what it it's about protecting what God's put in you. I I I need to say no. I need to say more no more to my kids. I know that's hard. Kids, can I say something to you teenagers? When mom and dad say no, there's a bigger plan in place.”

#GiveYourHeartToJesus
“But here's what I know. God cares about your soul, not just your money. In fact, God cares more about your soul than your money. And maybe you're sitting in the room and you're like, I I can give him my bank account, but I've not even given him my heart. I would say now is the perfect time to let's remedy that, Start a new life with Jesus. So if you would, all across the room, let's bow our heads. And if you're ready to give your life to Jesus, I'd love to pray this with you right where you are today. Dear Jesus, I give you my life. Thank you for loving me. Thank you Jesus for giving your life so that I can have life. I pray for forgiveness. Jesus, I pray that you forgive my past, that you would forgive my present, and Jesus that you'd redeem my future. I know I'm not gonna be perfect from this point forward, but I do wanna be faithful. So walk with me as I walk with you. I love you, Jesus. Thank you for eternal life.”

#StewardNotSource
“``What is truly life? Watch this. It's focusing on God who supplies what he supplied. It's going, hey God, everything you put in my life I am to steward not source. Can I can I tell you something? I don't know about you, that takes a whole lot of a whole lot of weight off of me. As a dad of three, as a husband of eighteen years, a brother, a son, a leader, a pastor, here's the reality, God is the source, I'm not. And when I think I'm the source, man I will run myself to death, and I will sacrifice family, and I will sacrifice integrity, and I will sacrifice everything. Why? Because I got to make it happen. Listen to me right now, you are not the source, you are the steward.”

#WalkTheRightPath
“Proverbs is very simple. He's going, hey. If you'll just every now and then look down and make sure you're still walking the right path in your marriage, if you're still walking the right path in your finances, if you're still walking the right path with your character and integrity, with your parenting, with your life group leading, with all if you'll still just look down and make sure you're walking the right path, he goes, you'll be established because God's already set the path. He's like, just just watch where you're going and do not turn to the right or to the left, turn your foot from evil. He's not saying every now and then God's not gonna go, hey, let's go this way or hey, let's go that way. You know what he he's saying? Just walk with God. If it's evil, if it's not biblical, if it's not God, walk in a different direction. Go somewhere else. God puts money in our hands or resources. You you you can say energy, time, money, whatever. Resources in our hands so it can serve him, not you serve it.”

#SayNoNowYesLater
“It's not because they don't want to give you what you want. It's because maybe they have a bigger plan in place for something greater. Every parent in the room ought to be going, y'all better be listening to this. Let me say no for you. Right? Just remember, it's not about Hey listen, I may look at you and go, you got 75 pairs of shoes in your closet with tags still on them. You don't need another what? Right? Because if I say no to the shoes right now, I may be able to say yes to a family dinner next week. Are you with me? No is a complete sentence. And I want to have the self control to not only say yes, but to also say no. And I want to be able to say no now, so that I can say yes later.”

#TitheAndBudget
“I don't know about y'all, but I've gotten to places in my life where I'm just so stressed out by money. It's hard to smile. Anybody with me? It's hard to have fun. It's hard to smile. It's hard to laugh. It's hard to it's hard to say it it it it as a man, it's hard to say no to your family all the time. This is leaving and that's leaving and we were in a good season and then this and now that and oh my gosh. And then I have to remember, I'm not the source. I'm the what? Steward. I'm the steward. I gotta be okay with that. I need and I gotta enjoy the ride every now and then. I gotta I need to have fun with the ride every now and then. I think Christians should be the happiest people on the planet. I really do.”
