#HealedAndFed
“``That was a very real miracle that was captured in the Bible for us, and it was also foreshadowed a few other things. It showed that Jesus, first of all, had compassion for the people spiritually, and second, at the physical level as well. He had spiritual compassion because they had followed Jesus like sheep, so he ministered to them and healed them. And then he also had physical compassion and fed them and used his disciples to help, which he would go on to do even after his resurrection.”

#BlessAndMultiply
“And the interesting thing here is that Jesus didn't just take it all on himself, but he told his disciples to go and feed them. He engaged with the other leaders within the community that he gathered to take care of their earthly needs of the community as well. And when they said they didn't have enough resources like food, Jesus' first reaction was to thank his heavenly father or bless the father on what they did have. They had the two fish and the five loaves. And so he thanked God for the blessing. He thanked God for the blessing he did have. And he thanked him for what he was about to do. And then he picked up the bread and the fish with the father's blessing, and Jesus multiplied the food.”

#DisciplesServe
“He thanked God for the blessing he did have. And he thanked him for what he was about to do. And then he picked up the bread and the fish with the father's blessing, and Jesus multiplied the food. And again, used the disciples to distribute this. That was a very real miracle that was captured in the Bible for us, and it was also foreshadowed a few other things.

#LordSupperGrace
“Then in the New Testament, throughout the New Testament, Jesus shows us compassion and thereby his father's compassion in heaven all the way through the Lord's Supper, through all of his torture, death, resurrection, through his appearance after resurrection, through his ascension into heaven, and then into this age and the age yet to come. And the lord shows compassion always. And in the lord's supper, we're gonna have today. We are about to experience a very real sacrament where our redeemer and friend, the lord of our church and our hearts, continues to heal and feed us all as well in body and in soul in agape love and grace.”
