Fathers Called to Lead: Faith, Healing, New Beginnings

God calls men to be men of God, fathers, sons, and leaders, not because they have never failed, but because Jesus Christ can make things new again. The call to fatherhood begins with honesty: men have failed God, families, spouses, business, and many areas of life. Jesus Christ at the center of a life can erase what sin has stained and bring a man back into purpose.

The work of prayer behind fathers matters because God still has work for men to do. Breath in the lungs and blood in the veins mean God is not through. The testimony of a man still standing after many heart procedures becomes a living reminder that health, weakness, age, and struggle do not cancel calling.

The judgment seat of Christ stands before every believer as a holy reality. The word of God says an account will be given for what was done and what was left undone, even the things meant for good and the things that were evil. The call to holiness does not demand perfection, because no person is perfect. The perfect God made the perfect sacrifice, and the faithful servant longs to hear, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant.”

The great white throne judgment brings a sober warning for anyone who does not know Christ. The burden for souls is that no person who walks through the doors would ever hear, “Depart from me.
