Wisdom knows when to speak and when to stay quiet. Proverbs says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and James calls the one who lacks wisdom to ask God. Faith is the final word. Faith is trusting God for what has not yet come to pass, writing it down, praying over it, and remembering that the “forgetter works overtime.” Earthly fathers are not perfect, but the heavenly Father shows these qualities fully and is there all the time.
