“``But the negative also occurs that that a father should not exhibit any behavior that he doesn't want his children to follow. And unfortunately, many fathers today expect their children to do as I say, not as I do. Whether it's about language, or laziness, or habits, or spiritual disinterest, that are inappropriate meeting, media, substance abuse, divorce, whatever it is, we expect children to not do our own vices. But that is not the case with a godly father. You see, you you are more than an instructor with words that should be obeyed. You are an example, a model that your children are going to follow. So let me ask you, where will your example lead your children? Who will they be if they live like you?”

“So get this, the the father honored the son, so the son wasn't desperate for acceptance. There's a lot of kids nowadays who are desperate for acceptance. Gentlemen, some of that may be on us, that they haven't received the validation, the acknowledgment, the affirmation, like the father gave his son see, the son didn't have to imagine. I think my dad honors me. I think my dad thinks highly of me. I think he approves of me. No. He didn't have to do that because the father explicitly stated it.”

“The question, what are you aiming your child at? And are you preparing them for that goal? The father sent the son into the world for a purpose. First John four fourteen says, he sent the father the father sent the son to be the savior of the world. And whatever goal you think you have for your kids, it ought to be greater than their sports. ought to be greater than their education. ought to be greater than their popularity among other kids. It ought to be greater than their financial success or their career. You see, God made those children for his mission, and you as a mighty man are supposed to aim him at at a target according to God's mission. The father sent the son to be the savior of the world, and so what what is my child's part in God's mission? Maybe you don't have complete clarity, but man, you should find a target and shoot at it and let God take care of the details. There will always be something, some wind downrange that you're not accounting for, that you didn't see coming, but you can do all you can to prepare and launch that arrow.”

“And no, regardless if you had a great dad or a terrible dad in this world, your spiritual father will be changed from the devil to God. You'll be taken out of the devil's family and born again as a son of God. It happens at a point of time. You don't just always exist, nor has anyone always been saved. You must be born again. It's the beginning. You need a time in your life where you've believed on Jesus that he is the son of God. That he died in your place to pay for your sin, and he rose from the grave, and to receive him.”
