52s
“``We do not understand our relationship to God the father. Instead of believing the scriptural description of God, what the Bible says about God the father, and allowing that to speak into our faith and our living, we look at human fathers and project those images upon God. Well, I was playing pickleball this week. I had this conversation with this counselor. She has a strong faith background. She counsels all kinds of folks. And she said that one of the big problems is people reject God the father because of their broken relationship with their own father.”
59s
“God is omniscient. That means all knowing. It's not only facts. It is concepts. He knows the causes and effects, the limits, and all the natural laws which he created and how everything interrelates. The Lord knows everything in the spiritual realm. He knows all of the supernatural realm. He knows all that happens in the realm of thought in every creature. There's no dimension that exists outside the knowledge of God. In his omnipresence, he is everywhere at the same time, and yet he is outside of time. All of that infinite knowledge operates within God's perfect wisdom. This wisdom is how the will and mind of God makes the promise of Romans eight twenty eight possible.”
