“So as we go through this, I just want you guys to get, man, we're gonna argue over money. That's gonna happen. Last week, we talked about in the marriage, She grew up doing jujitsu. You grew up doing kickboxing. Y'all got some kind of street fighting thing going on in the house. Turn into MMA. Learn how to fight with each other against the world, not destroy each other. But learn the difference between we're having an argument and it's becoming abusive. Learn to repent. Learn to change. Learn to stop. Learn to own. Don't just say, hey. I I said I'm sorry, and you gotta forgive me. No. Repentance is not saying you're sorry. Repentance is change. Repentance is if I go to this extreme, then I go beyond that extreme to try and make it right.”

“Now here's what I'm saying. Adultery is betrayal, but it's not the betrayed spouse's fault. And so I can't blame you if I fail you. I must repent. There may be things that we both are frustrated with, but there must be repents. Alright. So restoration requires truth, repentance, accountability, and the ending of the outside relationship even if it's not physically made it there. And patient rebuilding. You don't owe me to be healed tomorrow because of what you did yesterday. That's got to be rebuilt.”

“This is a cultural issue that was happening, and it's one relevant today where we've started realizing that coercive control is being able to threaten. If you don't get in line, then I guess we'll get divorced. I'll keep the assets. I'll keep the car. I'll cut your phone off. I'll keep the kids. I'll ruin your reputation. Very relevant in our society today. And what makes it worse is when the bible has been used in the pulpit and the leadership has been the excuse to justify abuse.”
