#ScarredAndRisen
“And he's not coming out of this from nowhere, friends. This is Jesus. Jesus who died and was crucified and laid low in the grave. When he rose from the grave, he could arise, rose in a perfected body. Not a mark on him, brand new, but he left the holes in his hand. He carried the receipts with him. You wanna know what's real? I'll show you what's real. That's the real deal. The question is, what did it actually cost them to follow Jesus, and who paid? And the super apostles came up short.”

#IsYourJesusKind
“The test is simply this. If your Jesus isn't making you kinder, you might be following a different Jesus. If it's not making you kinder, Your Jesus might sound impressive. He might win a lot of arguments. He might look powerful, but that's not the Jesus of scripture. I've been there, though, friends. I've been the Corinthian. I wanted a thunderous, victorious Jesus, which, ironically, he is. He is all of that. But I wanted it aimed against whoever I was dunking on or whoever whatever obstacle was in my way. I've been there.”

#ReceiptsOfGrace
“Who pays in the end? Well, when we follow the super apostles, the church gets spent. But here's a litmus test when you know, you got an o g. The leader gets spent. Jesus gets spent. Every god you try to follow will always spend you in the end. Jesus is the only one that spent himself on you way before you came to him, and he has the receipts to prove it.”
