1. "As Christians, there will come a time when evilness will catch up. Many believers, if we want to assume them as such, and many who are weak in the faith, turning them aside to fables as Paul calls that, and that's why he calls to us as Christians. And we looked at him a lot in chapter number three, he charges Timothy to charge the church that in the last days in perilous time, it is of the utmost importance for the Christians in the church to remain faithful when we begin to see, and in the entire world culture, the entire, what seems like the rest of the churches in, in the world, the great seed church. Her. Falling away, this great falling away that will happen." [08:26] (49 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

2. "Paul not only commands us to preach, but he gives us the outline to be able to be able to learn or to be able to find the delivery of our preaching. How should one preach? How should one share the word? How should one be able to convey it? Well, he goes on in verse number two to be ready in season and out of season. To be able to convince, to be able to rebuke, to be able to exhort and have all on suffering and teaching. We see three elements of how we should be able to preach and share the word of God." 3. "It's an altogether different element of growth and a surety and confidence of your knowledge of scripture to say, I am able not only to hear it and to read it, but I am able to use it. And understand the doctrines and be able to share it with another person. And I know what I say is true because I can quote scripture. I can reference scripture. I can go exactly where I, where I've been taught and find it and be able to share it to whoever I'm talking to, to a family member, to a child, to a grandchild, to a coworker, to a neighbor, to be able to share it to them." 4. "The need for holy scriptures to be taught. Why did Paul choose that? That three worded answer. That last charge. Preach the word. Why is it so important to Paul? Why is it so dogmatic that we need to be able to not only be readers of the word and hearers of the word. But be able to be fully confident to share the word to our families, our friends, our co-workers, our neighbors. To be able to be in places that the element of the church is preaching the word. Because there will come a time when society, when the community, when the neighborhoods, when the culture, when the majority of believers will not endure just the preaching of the word. They won't endure it." [24:26] (45 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

5. "Paul, at this point in time, is looking back at his life and looking ahead. At the same time, he sees the last chapter of his life having been well spent. He did exactly what he charged Timothy, the young 30-something, 40-something-year-old man at this time. He remained faithful. He remained steadfast. When they tried to kill him, he went back to preaching the word. When they tried to malign him, he went back to preaching the word. When, when churches that he had helped by the, create by the grace of God began to fall away, he stayed. He stayed consistent in preaching the word." 6. "If you still have a position of influence with your family. With your children. With your grandchildren. With your spouse who respects you. Neighbors and friends that respect you. If you have a position of influence in any relationship, humanly speaking. That you can influence. Preach the word. Because if you don't. Somebody else will. We only have a limited amount of time. Before they may fall away. That is why it's so important." [32:48] (37 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

7. "I have fought. I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, would give to me on that day, the day of the Lord, the appearing. And not to me only, but also to all who have loved his appearing." [37:19] (30 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

8. "The reason why the Bible tells us that we should come to church is to be edified by the preaching of the word. To grow in faith. To be able to be at a place. Where not only a preacher, the preacher. But if you go to Sunday school, that teacher. After you leave that place. You will have drawn closer. You will have learned more. You will be remembered of something of your step with the walk of the Lord. That will have inched you closer to the holy God that you know." 9. "The old man. The old apostle is standing up here. Just saying. And the hard times are coming. Endure it. Do what you can. What ministries God has given you. Fulfill them. In a way that will honor God. And is not having a family. A blessing of God. Does not. The Bible say in the Old Testament. That children are a heritage from the Lord. Blessed is the man who has abundantly children. For his quivers. His quiver. Will be full of arrows." [33:37] (38 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

10. "I don't think my wife really wants me to be the best version of me. I think my wife would appreciate if I was the best version that God wanted me to be. They don't want to listen to sound teaching. And when you try to show them scripture. Well, that's just your view. Relativism. The culture and the belief of relativism. This is what you believe. That's just your interpretation of scripture. They turn their ear away from the truth. You can't convince them." [32:14] (37 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
