Sermon Summary

Sermon Clips

As we prepare to give today's tithes and offerings, we are trusting God for breakthrough in every area of our lives. New jobs, promotions, raises, benefits, and bonuses. We believe in prosperity in our businesses, favorable sales and commissions, financial settlements, estates, and inheritances. We believe God for interest and income, rebates and royalties, and retirement. We believe in prosperity in our businesses, favorable sales and returns, unexpected checks in the mail, and better yet, checks in our hands. We speak gifts, surprises, and finding money. We declare debts will be wiped out, loans paid off, and our financial burdens lifted. We will be debt free. [00:01:01] (48 seconds)

What should be clear to us in our fasting is that it is a way to focus on God for wisdom and clarity in difficult situations. It clarifies that we are in a spiritual battle that requires prayer. It clarifies that we are in a spiritual battle that requires prayer and fasting, and that our persistence, our consistency in fasting and prayer demonstrates faith and reliance on God's timing. You want your loved ones saved? I would suggest to you to fast and pray. [00:23:21] (33 seconds)

When you take care of your business with excellence, everybody will see it. And that's what happens. I have my own testimony. I told y 'all at the end of December, I got some news. I got some news. I got some news. I got some news. I got some news. I got some news. news that I couldn't quite share yet, but two weeks ago when I finally went back to work after my vacation, they gave me a call and sent me a letter via email. We want to offer you a promotion to director. [00:26:51] (28 seconds)

Discipline ought to promote godly decision. Daniel heard about the creed. Daniel heard about this proclamation. He heard what the law was. He knew it would not be repealed. He knew it could not be changed. It would not be revoked. He knew that it wouldn't be shifted. But as you heard in verse 10 in our text, when Daniel heard about it, watched his decision, he went home, went upstairs, opened the windows, got down on his knees, and prayed three times a day, giving thanks to his God, just as he'd done before. [00:38:36] (38 seconds)

Daniel only comes to God just to give him thanks, as he's always done. You would think that a person in this kind of precarious predicament would be making plans and supplications to God, but instead, he's celebrating God. You would think that a person that is in this situation would be crying out to God to save them, but he is just telling God, thank you, and celebrating him. [00:42:14] (28 seconds)

May I please tell you in church family, this is, this is, this is that when you're disciplined, discipline provides a platform for God's deliverance. Say it again. Discipline provides a platform for God's deliverance. Watch the text. Darius is stressed out in verse 19. In verse 20, he screams and hollers, Daniel, are you there? And in verse 21, this is where you ought to shout. [00:47:03] (28 seconds)

God, we ask that you touch your people on today, whatever they may be dealing with, God. Let them know to put it in your hands. For your word says, cast all your cares upon me, for he cares for you. And so, God, allow us the strength to give you the strength to give you the strength to give you the strength to give you everything. To handle everything to work everything out. [00:57:36] (27 seconds)
