You see Satan was convinced he said to God God if you let me take away all these blessings from job he'll curse you to his face let me do it let me take away these blessings and I'll get job to curse you friends he didn't curse God he blessed the name of the Lord. [00:09:24]

He fell to the ground and he worshiped see in the midst of his morning job also decided to worship God and let's face it he worshiped God despite the circumstances of his life despite his feelings you might even say that that was the purest worship that job ever gave to God. [00:10:39]

The lord gave and the Lord has taken away I think that's a very Godly and wise way to understand what was going on job said look I came into this world with nothing that means everything I have is a gift from God you know when I came into this world I didn't have a suit of clothes on. [00:11:35]

He made a stand against pride and he humbled himself before God he made his stand against self and decided to worship God even if he didn't feel like it he made a stand against a time-bound Earthly mindset and he chose to think in terms of Eternity he made a stand against anger and he did not blame God. [00:15:45]

He talks about the end intended by the Lord a goal something God wants to accomplish what was the end intended by the lord well friends we know this from Job chapter one The End intended by the Lord God wanted to use job to teach Satan and the other angels in the Heavenly Realm to teach them something. [00:17:05]

Did you know that the Bible tells us that God is using his church I believe that tonight I'm not just looking out upon a congregation gathered on a Wednesday night I'm looking out upon a segment of God's Church his eternal Church now his church is much bigger than those who are gathered here this evening. [00:18:25]

Friends God has good reasons even when we can't see them just because you can't see God's good reason doesn't mean that it doesn't exist and by the way the Book of Job teaches us that there's an aspect of human misery that is not a penalty for sin job wasn't being punished for his sin. [00:27:52]

Friends always remember that God will never allow Satan to do against you all the evil that he would intend God restricts Satan and his agents God was very compassionate and merciful to job because God sustained him with his unseen hand throughout all of his suffering friends this great Triumph of faith. [00:29:26]

Satan intends one thing but God uses him for another thing and it's really crazy at the end of it all God had accomplished something wonderful look at the beginning of the Book of Job he's a very good man and he's a very blessed man you know where he is at the end of The Book of Job. [00:31:31]

Think of how many people Through the Ages have found comfort and strength in the patience of Job they've said listen I've suffered but I'm not suffering worse than job if job could remain faithful to God if job could see God's work accomplished in and through him then God can work that way in and through me. [00:33:12]

They realized God may give me some great challenge God may allow some great testing in my life God may even do it as a lesson to Angelic beings in Heavenly places but even as God uses us to teach both faithful and fallen angels he's going to make us better and more blessed through it all. [00:34:48]

We might say as Charles Spurgeon said that Satan in all that he did against job he ended up only building a pedestal upon which job would stand so that all the ages could look upon job and be amazed at how God could work in a man think of how many people Through the Ages have found comfort. [00:36:32]
