Abram was in a season where he was believing God for a miracle where he needed a miracle anybody in the room needing a miracle anybody believing God for a miracle amen and and you should be I I think we should live with expectation we should live with hearts that believe and hearts that are looking for what God has for us. [00:00:25]

Sometime later the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision don't you love how God just shows up sometime later like later than we want him to later than we expected him to later than we believed that he would but sometime later the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him don't be afraid Abram for I will protect you your reward will be great. [00:02:50]

Abram believed the Lord and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith like God looked at Abram's belief God who looks on the heart like you and I we look on the outside so we might see someone ending or faking it but God he doesn't go for the fake he he he could see that Abram genuinely believed. [00:04:41]

We all do when we are in a season of waiting not to create a theology that is outside of the word of God in order to make sense of our waiting make sure that we don't create a Doctrine to to kind of speed up the presence of God that is outside the word of God because this is when we when we make mistakes. [00:06:22]

God's timing is is perfect anybody believe that God's timing is perfect it's irritating I mean let's just be transparent downright frustrating I we're in a season of waiting right now at at at at our at our church I'm believing God for some really massive things like we got outside the tent and we looked at the stars. [00:28:15]

God is present while you are waiting God is faithful in your waiting and God is working in your waiting you might not be able to see God working but your delay is not a denial it's just God setting you up for the destiny that he intends to take you into and when we say Destiny we just mean God's designed destination for your life. [00:09:17]

Step outside of your tent change your environment let God change your context let me explain to you where I'm going with this point God took Abram outside because he couldn't see what he needed to see while he was inside it was a tent if you will of limitations so God said I'm going to show you something but before I do that you got to you got to come outside the tent. [00:10:53]

Look up at the stars look up everybody say look up for some of you that's all you need to hear today because you've been looking down you've been looking around and God is saying you don't get your word from haters and naysayers you don't get your vision from a confused culture that is constantly contradicting itself. [00:19:27]

Your future has nothing to do with what you build what you can do it has everything to do with what I can do so I need to get you to take your eyes off of what you built and start focusing on what I've done and what I can do I need to get you to stop focusing on the 100 reasons why it'll never happen. [00:24:47]

We need to stay in step with God stay in step with God God's timing is is perfect anybody believe that God's timing is perfect it's irritating I mean let's just be transparent downright frustrating I we're in a season of waiting right now at at at at our at our church I'm believing God for some really massive things. [00:28:08]

The only way to inherit what's been promised is to have faith and patience Eugene Peterson says that faith is long obedience in the same Direction it's having faith for a long time trusting the process trusting God staying in step with him I'm going to give I'm going to serve I'm going to be in the house I'm not seeing the fruit yet but I'm going to continue doing what I know to do. [00:37:43]

God finishes what he starts if God originates it he will orchestrate it the writer of Hebrews says that God is the author and the finisher of our faith so if it's not good yet then God's not done yet if it's not good yet then I want you to see the pen is still in the author's hand. [00:39:39]
