##NewLifeInChrist
“Bible is therefore not merely of a book that teaches us how to become a better people, it reveals a savior who makes you and me new people. Amen? Amen. We can learn many useful lessons from Bible, but if our reading never lead us toward the deeper faith in Christ Jesus, we miss essential purpose. The greatest gift of Bible is that he introduced the greatest gift of God, Jesus Christ.”

##GrowingThrough GodsWord
“Bible is a God's corrective action plan for our spiritual life. When script when when scripture reveals our pride, God is inviting us to humility. When it exposes our selfishness, God calls us to love. When he confronts our sin, God offers forgiveness and restoration through Christ. We should welcome the correction of the scripture before it comes from God, because it comes from God who loves us and desires a spiritual maturity. Just like a loving parents does not correct a child to humiliate the child, but to help the child. Our heavenly father corrects us and matures us through his word, because he loves us.”

##FaithThatTransforms
“Notice the four functions of the scripture. Teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training. Scripture teaches us what is true. Teaches us what is true. And rebukes us or exposes us about what is wrong, what is wrong. It corrects us when we go astray, and it trains us to live according to God's righteousness. In other word, scripture addresses both our belief and our behaviors. God's word is given not merely for information, but primarily for transformation.”

##BeyondBibleKnowledge
“We live in the age when biblical, you know, information is more access accessible than before. We have bible apps, podcasts, online sermons, commentaries, theological book, countless bible studies, yet more biblical information does not necessarily produce greater spiritual maturity. We can study forgiveness without forgiving anyone. We can discuss generosity while remaining selfish. We can learn about humility while becoming proud of our biblical knowledge. Problem is not a lack of information, problem is our unwillingness to be transformed. That's why the word correcting in verse 16 is very important.”

##FaithInAction
“We learn faith by watching faithful people. Christianity is not something we learn merely by reading books or listening to sermons. We learn Christianity by watching people who actually live it. Think about how we learn almost everything important in life. We learn to speak by listening to others. We learn kindness by experiencing kindness. We learn patience by watching patient people. We learn generosity by saying people share what they have. Same is true of a faith.”

##LiveYourFaith
“By the way, do you know what we call those who want to be role model only in selective times and selective places? Do you know what we call them? Hypocrite. We call them hypocrite, you know. When we try to control and limit our role modeling to certain times and areas of life, we become a hypocrite. Role modeling is authentic and transparent. It does not leave any area of life off. Often the most critical role modeling happens when we are not aware of it.”

##LivingWord
“For instance, think about four gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, each represent Jesus from different perspective. And their differences enrich our understanding of the same Lord. Bible is not a lifeless collection of ancient religious document. It's a written witness, written witness through which the living God continued to speak to his people. And the God who inspired the scripture is still alive. That's why scripture is a living book.”

##AbideInChrist
“What a beautiful picture of God's blessing. Just as a branch remain connected to vine to grow and bear fruit, we must remain and abide in Christ's experience, the fullness of a life that he gives. God's greatest blessings are not merely things that we receive from God, but actually life we experience as we continue to abide in him. Abiding blessings of God are the greatest blessings for they are organic, transformative, and productive.”
