#ChosenNotQualified
“Or maybe it wasn't the playground for you. Maybe it was the the job that you applied for. Maybe it was maybe maybe the promotion that you wanted, the school you was hoping to accept you, the opportunity opportunity that you prayed for. You looked around and thought, there are people more qualified than me. People with a better resume than me. Yet somehow your name got called. And church family, do you know what that feels like? It feels like being chosen.”

#GodWritesYourStory
“Some people looked at your life and started writing your obituary while God was still writing your testimony. Some people counted you out while God was still counting you in. Some people saw a failure, but God saw a future. Some people saw your mess, but God saw your ministry. Some people saw where you were, but God saw where he was taking you because God is the only one who can look at your unfinished life and already see the finished product.”

#InheritedBlessings
“Forget the dangers he kept us from. Forget the storms he brought us through. Forget the nights he carried us when we couldn't carry ourselves. That's where Israel finds themselves in Deuteronomy chapter seven. They are standing at the edge of the promised land. Forty years have passed. The generation that left Egypt is gone. Now their children stand ready to inherit blessings they didn't work for, houses they didn't build, wells they didn't dig, vineyards they didn't plant.”

#GodKeepsWhatHeChooses
“Now church, if point one taught us that God chose them, point two teaches us that God kept them. Point number two, faithful now, God keeps what he chooses. Let's look at verse eight. It says, but it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath, he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery. So notice what Moses does. He doesn't say Israel brought themselves out.”
