#HumbleAndCounseled
“``As believers, we should practice humility, listen to wise counsel, avoid foolish commitments, and recognize that that the value of dependable relationships in times of difficulty. You're gonna want your dear friend helping you, getting in the middle of whatever it is you're going through. It reminds Christians that character is shaped in our community, the local church, just the same way as iron sharpens iron. God often uses trusted friends in our lives to refine our faith, expose our weaknesses, not to make us feel bad, just the opposite, but to advance you. Getting godly counsel is something that helps us become more like Christ.”

#FaithfulRebuke
“These those things produce you being better. Those things produced you being on top of things because your friend has take showed up with the piece of iron and you've shown up with the other piece of metal to make you a weapon and your friends are part of that. Proverbs twenty seven five through 17 teaches Christians today. It teaches teaches Christians today that genuine friendships and wisdom are lived out through honest faithful relationships. A true friend is willing to give godly counsel to their friends, caring and offering it when needed because rebuke can help their friend grow than any hidden affection or empty praise.”

#SpeakTruthInLove
“Solomon's message is basically that sincere correction when motivated by the right heart, by by by love, by caring, is far more valuable than affection that avoids truth. Genuine care. Genuine care has the courage to speak when speaking is needed. How many of you have ever had a tremendous burden to go to someone, you love them, you care about them, And you know there's no doubt in your mind. You don't need to parse it down and break it over and look at that, pray about it. You know. God is saying, I need you to go over here and do this and do that. And you're like, don't wanna do that. But look what how that is being set up. When you either side of the ball you're on here, when you get that open rebuke, if that is better than love concealed. How many of you if you if you're off, you're making bad moves and your buddy sees it. How many of you want him to keep quiet? Say nothing.”

#RayaTrustedFriend
“And, you know, and it goes it takes a step further and it takes a step further, it takes a step further, it gets deeper and deeper and deeper best friend. This word this is a friendship that is trusted. It's close. It is think of welding. It's taking that stick, putting it on piece of metal on top of another piece of metal, and that's one. It's that. It's that. It's sewing things together. It's one garment. Here's the cool thing about Raya. Raya, it does this. I am your best friend. You are my best friend. Not because you're my wife or my husband, not because you're my brother or my sister, because I chose and you chose me.”

#LocalFriendshipFirst
“Do we have that in our society? Yes, we do. And oh, by the way, guess what the word is? Y'all learn the Hebrew word. But it Uses it again. Why would you go way over here when you have that person right there? But this father's friend business, what what is that? We have that in our culture. How many of you have a family friend and you call them uncle? Not a drop of blood in you and in him whatsoever, but that's uncle Bill. That's uncle Fred aunt. You cannot separate that from you from you. That's how you feel about that person. That is what he's getting here. He says, nor go to your brother's house in the day of your calamity. When you have an issue, it's serious, it's bad, go to that buddy right then and there that lives right on top of you. Better is your neighbor nearby because they are nearby than a brother way out yonder.”

#DontForsakeFriends
“He's saying, you don't need to get up and go to your family that lives over yonder when your best friend or your somebody you trust, your your buddy of all things, lives just right there. He he says that he said, it's better to do that. It's better to do that than go off at a distance and and get advice from a family. No one from a family member that do not forsake your own friend or your father's friend. Now, do we have that in our culture? He says, don't don't forsake it. In other words, you don't need to go off somewhere when the answer is just down the street or a phone call.”

“Okay. All of that said, you do realize that's how God looks at you. There's nothing in the world he would do to harm his child. Would you? If you give advice to your child, is it from a bad place? Of course not. Not unless you need to go to a therapist and talk about that. But of course it isn't. You come from a good place in your heart. Where in the world do we get advice from God? Where in the world does God give us advice? Where can we go to get God's advice? Amen? If you hear me, say amen. It's the word of God. It's the bible.”

#TruthBringsRelief
“And think about you being the person that went there. You being the person who delivered this message. And in the middle of that, you're nervous, you're scared to death, you approach that with yikes. And as you're delivering that message and you're being obedient to the Lord and doing what you're doing, you watch racing across your friend's face, relief, acceptance, gratitude, grateful that it was that delivered that message. Think about being that person as you watch your buddy give you that and you just feel yourself and resolve and lean in to the fact I needed to hear that.”
