#DoMoreForTheLord
“``And that means that, can I say this quietly? I've pondered about this all through week. That means that you catch this. There is nothing like doing too much for the Lord. If you get this, I'm done for the day. There is nothing like doing too much for the Lord. There is nothing because it's about the blessing. He's blessed us so much. And the mission is endless. He's given us so much grace.”

#FaithIntoAction
“``James is saying here that sometimes action must follow our prayers. He's building the argument that yes, we can pray but after our prayer we must put our prayer into action. We can trust God but after we do that, we must put it into action. We must move the needle. We must go out. We must do something. Look at your neighbor and help me preach this morning and say, Do something.”

#FaithProducesWorks
“``Don't get James wrong. James is not saying that we are saved because of our good works. Do you get it? James is not saying that because you you do good works to people, you you are nice to people because you give to the poor because we do those things we are saved. James is saying that before that happens, a genuine faith actually produces those good works.”

#FaithInActionLikeRahab
“``And some people will say, oh, Abraham was a man of faith. That is why good works follows him. Abraham was was special. So he said, No. I'm not just giving you Abraham. I'm also giving you Rahab. If you say Abraham was special, look at Rahab. Rahab was not known in the community, but Rahab used her faith to hide the spies because she heard about the word of God. Today, when you hear God's word, the scripture said, don't harden your heart because salvation comes to us today. God is giving us the word of faith today. And when you hear the word of faith today, it's a call to action. It's a call to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.”

#NoFavoritismInFaith
“``The principle here is this, that the glorious faith we have, the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ should never be associated with favoritism or discrimination because the Lord of glory himself or the Lord God God self does not show favoritism. In fact, in Acts chapter 10 verse 34, Peter says that of a truth Peter opens his mouth and and declares that of a truth, I perceive that God is no respecter of person. God does not show favoritism but in every nation, he that fears God, God does not love one nation over the other. God does not love one group of people over the other. God does not love one gender over the other. God does not love us just you know in categories but God loves all of us just as we are. Is that a good message this Sunday morning? God loves you.”

#GenuineLivingFaith
“``So here James is building his argument because some people have believed that only if they can believe they will have salvation. If they will believe they they if they have faith, faith is enough. And James is trying to build that it's in it's he thought that it's impossible that someone could genuinely have a saving faith with no words. He's some people think he's contradicting Paul, but he's not contradicting Paul. He's rather adding to the Paul's argument. But someone could say that he has faith but failed to show good works. So the question is what kind of faith can save? The faith that saves James is saying that he is helping us to understand there is something called genuine faith. And a faith that is genuine, a faith that is living produces good works.”

#LoveGodLoveNeighbor
“``The interesting thing about this royal law is that the the the love of God and reaching yourself with the love of God makes our love for our neighbor easier. Do you see? Sometimes people go about loving neighbor and forget about the love of God. And they get it all wrong because sometimes it's not easy to do that. We fall into our own human philosophies. We fall into our own ways of doing things. But when we love God because the reason God wanted to love one another is so that so that all glory will return back to him. So that we acknowledge that God who created us, the God who made us. So never go after loving your neighbor as yourself and and forget about the love of God. It's always attention that we hold as you increase your love for the Lord thy God. Your love for neighbor increases. You become more loving. You become more joyful. You become more kind. You become a better person. Do I have some witness this Sunday morning? Amen.”

#GoodWorksMatter
“``But what was being talked about was her works, her good works. Everybody was sharing some of our online bible study members were there. Ingrid and Santa, they everybody was sharing about the good works that she did while she was with us here. At the end of our lives, what matters is not how smart we were. What matters is not how beautiful we were or how handsome you are like me. At the end of when all is said and done, what matters is the good works that follows us. Even right once we are still here, it really matters that the good works are always following us wherever we go.”
