#TrustGodWithResults
“``God doesn't expect the impossible of us. When God gives us something to do, he expects us to do our best and to trust him with the results. And so, you're worried about something, trust God. If we're worried about something, we need to trust God. To whom belongs all the cattle on a thousand hills. He has no need of money. He is able to compensate for any failure and will compensate for what we are unable to do.”

#FaithfulNotComparable
“``Now, the guy with five talents and the guy with two talents, notice this, got the exact same praise. The guy who made more money didn't get more praise than the guy who made less money. They were both praised the exact same way. He didn't call them good and capable servants. He wasn't worried about their capability. He called them good and faithful servants. When we stand before Jesus, what's going to matter isn't how good we are at a certain thing compared to other people. What's going to matter is how faithful we were with what we were able to do.”

#BeFaithfulDoYourBest
“``Not for his sake, but for our own. To give us an opportunity to be faithful. And because of that, we don't have to worry about the the talents. Right? Or our ability to make good on the responsibilities that God has given us. All we have to worry about is being faithful. Doing what we know is right and giving it our best. And trusting God to compensate for what we cannot do.”

#GreatCommission
“``Then also consider this responsibility. We've got we've got marriages, we've got family, we've got jobs, but then we also have the gospel. And I think this responsibility seems to fit the text best. Think about this. Jesus gave us the great commission. Our responsibility to go to the world, preach the gospel to every creature, and then left. He's gone. He ascended.”

#BeAGoodSpouse
“``Does God expect you to have a good marriage? Those of you who are married, Christian husbands and wives, does he expect of you to have a good marriage? Well, the two of you together, yes, a Christian husband and a Christian wife, you should have a good marriage. God expects that of you. But does he expect a good marriage from a good husband and a bad wife? Does he expect a good marriage from a good wife and a bad husband? Well, no. He expects of those individuals to be good husbands and good wives.”

#ServeWellNotLiked
“``But you don't have control over how the rest of it goes. You don't have control of what the other person does. Another question. Does God expect you expect your boss to like you? Well, no. Right? He expects of you to be a good employee. He expects of you to do your best. You could be employee of the month, but that doesn't mean your boss is gonna like you. In fact, you could be the best employee on the floor, but that doesn't mean you're gonna be employee of the month.”

#FaithfulWhenHeReturns
“``Now, when Jesus comes back and reckons with us for our faithfulness, we should ask ourselves this question. Will we be glad and eager to present him with what we've done? Or will we kind of sonar up to him like that third man did with nothing to offer but excuses? Remember also, again, that the opportunities God gives us, he knows we can handle them and probably handle them well.”

#WatchfulFaithfulness
“``Now, this is where the parable ties in to waiting for Jesus' return. See, these guys, again, didn't know when their master was coming back. So, the only way they could be ready for that performance review was to be prepared for him to return at any moment by being faithful at all times and in all things. So, we actually get to go into the review now. Let's look at the guys who doubled their money. How did their review go? Look at verse 20.”
