“``This is like what we would see over in Acts chapter 16 where Paul and Silas were beaten with rods many times, and then they were thrown into the inner cell. So this is the one that was the worst of the worst. They were put in bonds, and then the jailer was surprised because what were they doing? They were in there singing. It's not ordinary behavior either, is it? Or or it's like Stephen when he was being stoned to death and as they were killing him, he prays, Lord, don't lay this sin to their charge and he's busy praying for the other people instead of being concerned with his life coming to an end.”

“Where the Bible says that faith, it's impossible to please God without faith. And then he gives two things. You know, some people are hard to please. You may be married to that person. Marriage advice, do not look at your spouse right now. Notice how I averted my eyes from mine. Or it may be your boss. Your boss is hard to please. But you know, God is not. In Hebrews 11 verse number 6, he he tells us plainly the two things that are in that verse. Without faith, it's impossible to please God. So there's the problem. We can't please God apart from faith.”
