#GraceOverPerfection
“God's posture towards you and me is compassion, not constant disappointment, not impossible standards, not an expectation of perfection. He's tender, and he extends compassion to us all. In fact, Paul wrote these wonderful words. He says, my grace is all you need. In fact, my power works best in weakness. So Paul says, now I'm gonna boast all the more about my weaknesses so that the power of Christ can work through me.”

#GraceInFailure
“Sometimes the most powerful example of faith is not pretending that you never fail. It's showing people what grace looks like when you do. Can I say that one again? Yes. Sometimes the most powerful example of faith is not pretending like you never fail. It's showing people what grace looks like when you do. Every person, married, single, divorced, widowed, mom, dad, auntie, grandmother, we are all leaving a legacy already, not someday, but right now.”

#RepairOverPerfection
“Listen to me. Your imperfections do not disqualify you from influence. The people in your life that you influence, they don't need perfection from you. They need authenticity, presence, grace, and consistency. And some of the most powerful and impactful moments in a family are not perfection moments. Listen to me. They're repair moments. A parent apologizing, a spouse admitting they're wrong, somebody choosing humility over pride.”

#FaithIsCaught
“If your home feels messy, complicated, loud, stressful, or imperfect, congratulations. You're normal. Because every family has issues. Every person has struggles, and that's why we need faith that works in real life. Because our homes, our spheres of influence are often where our faith is most valuable. Here's the second thing I wanna say about faith at home. Faith is more caught than taught. Faith is more caught than taught.”
