#WalkByTheWord
“Faith is rooted in the Lord and it changes everything that we do. And it's interesting, again, thinking through this, there are too many Christians who are waiting for a word or a sign from God before they start walking by faith. Like they're just waiting for the burning bush to pop up in their living room and then I'll go and then I'll do that thing. God has already given you his word. We believe that god's word is the Bible and so we're called to walk in accordance with god's word and in the power of god's spirit. We walk by the word and the spirit and that is enough and is sufficient by god's design for your life to follow him.”

#StayAnchored
“And what happens is we'll place our towel down and things, we'll get all our stuff organized and we'll go straight out into the water because it's close and we'll play and we'll play with the kids and we'll play. All of sudden, I'll look back and I'm a 100 yards away from my towel. Think about that? Like, how did I get here? The tide slowly pulling you, the sand shifting. This is our culture if we're not alert to what is going on. It continues this gravitational pull away from Christ. Are we alert to it?”

#StandFirmInTheLord
“He writes, For now we live if you stand firm in the Lord. This word is immovable. It's interesting. The only reason why would you have to stand firm unless something was coming against you. The point is something and someone is coming against you Christian And think about the culture that we live in. In any culture that you go to, the culture is like shifting sands in the face of an ocean's tide. That's what culture looks like.”

#HelpMyUnbelief
“I just wonder if we have this type of passion, prioritization, and persistence in prayer. Who's praising God for what God had done and praying for God to do more. It's asking, where are you needing God to show up in your life to grow some faith areas? Where are you lacking in your faith? In Mark nine, we have this account with Jesus. This dad comes to Jesus. His son is convulsing. He wants his son to be healed. And he has this statement. It's a very good prayer for many of us. He tells Jesus, I believe but help my unbelief.”
