Today, we gathered to experience the tangible presence of God, to encourage one another, and to be stirred up in faith for the building projects ahead of us—whether those are families, businesses, ministries, or personal dreams. We began by lifting each other up in prayer, recognizing that every person carries unseen burdens and needs divine intervention. As a family of faith, we declared blessings, restoration, and joy over one another, believing that God’s hand is able to lift us from every place of shame or sorrow into a place of honor and fruitfulness.
We celebrated the unity and joy of being in God’s house, welcoming new faces and affirming that everyone belongs in this community. Through vibrant worship and fellowship, we prepared our hearts to receive God’s word and direction for the season ahead.
The focus was on “faith for building”—not just building faith, but the specific faith required to undertake and complete the assignments God has given us. Drawing from the story of Nehemiah, we saw how a project that had languished in ruins for 140 years was completed in just 52 days, not by professionals, but by ordinary people empowered by God. Nehemiah’s journey was marked by overwhelming odds: generational failure, fierce opposition, lack of expertise, and immense logistical challenges. Yet, the hand of God made the impossible possible.
We learned that every God-given building project—whether it’s a business, a family, a ministry, or a dream—will face resistance, mockery, and even sabotage. But faith is the key that unlocks divine provision, favor, and supernatural acceleration. Faith is not passive; it is visible, active, and must be spoken. It is personal, and it is the only way to please God. Our level of faith determines the outcome of our endeavors, and God invites us to move from no faith, to little faith, to great faith.
We were challenged to stop waiting for perfect conditions or more qualifications. Faith is for now. God specializes in using ordinary people to do extraordinary things, and He is ready to help as soon as we step out. We were encouraged to speak forth what we believe, to call things that are not as though they are, and to trust that God will provide, guide, and bring to completion every good work He has begun in us.
Nehemiah 4:6 (ESV) — > So we built the wall. And all the wall was joined together to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.
Nehemiah 6:15-16 (ESV) — > So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty-two days. And when all our enemies heard of it, all the nations around us were afraid and fell greatly in their own esteem, for they perceived that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.
Hebrews 11:6 (ESV) — > And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
