#JehovahJirehToday
“``God is moving him closer and closer to provision. Maybe where God is moving you And you think it's, man, I'm in the valley, I'm I'm I'm I'm just I'm stressed out. And God say, no, no, no, just trust me. Understand my character. I'm moving you closer to Moriah. See, Genesis twenty two fourteen says, this is this is the place the Lord provide. Who is that talking about? That god is Jehovah Jireh. He's Jehovah Jireh today. The god, my provider. It is his name. It is his character and I've, amen. I believe we need that in our soul. He is Jehovah Jireh. Look to your neighbor whether you believe or not and say, he's Jehovah Jireh. Like, that's a hard word to say. The lord, my provider.”

#GodWantedHisHeart
“and we have to realize that god never wanted Isaac. This passage isn't about Isaac being sacrificed or any of those things. It's not about that. God wanted Abraham's heart. The test was never about Isaac. It was about trust. Yes, Isaac had to trust god and he had to he could've tried to run away all of those things but there was an understanding of the character of god in this family. See, many people think god enjoys taking things from them. That is not it. We have to understand the character of god. I've heard it over and over. God, why'd you take them from me? That's not god's character. That's not who he is. See, Genesis 22 shows the opposite. God stopped the knife. God provided, and God blessed. That is the story.”

#GodTestsYourTreasure
“Notice the progression here though. Says, your son, your only son in whom you love. See, I God in this moment is identifying who Abraham and what Abraham loves the most. He's identifying the treasure of Abraham's heart. See, sometimes god tests what we value most not because he wants to take it but because he wants to ensure it doesn't take us away. Do y'all hear me in that? God is not a taker. See, we have to understand the character of God. These these early scriptures help formulate the character of who God is. He is making sure that nothing's gonna take you away from him. This whole passage is about bringing Abraham closer to his heart.”

#FaithWhenCommandsConfuse
“See, seven times, God had already revealed himself to Abraham in the land of Canaan. Seven times, he understood the character of God. Now, he can know, God, you are gonna be faithful. I'm gonna come back with my son. I may have to do the end I may have to do something I don't wanna do, but God, you're you're gonna be faithful. I'm gonna come back with my son. See, faith trusts God's character when it when it cannot understand his instructions. I don't know how I'm gonna be a missionary. I don't know how I'm gonna be a pastor. I I don't know how I'm gonna serve God at work. I don't I don't I don't know how we're gonna be faithful in our finance. I don't know how I'm gonna step out in faith. I'm gonna trust God's character even when I don't understand fully his instructions.”
