Sermon Summary

Sermon Clips

Even in the darkness of a prison cell, Joseph remained faithful to God. In times of trial, we will trust in the Lord. Though forgotten by others, Joseph was never forgotten by God. The faithful presence in every season. God was with Joseph in the waiting, preparing him for what was to come. [00:15:41] (27 seconds)

We're thankful for organizations like the Scouts, Lord, that shape values and lead folks into becoming citizens with integrity and leadership. We're thankful for our church and all of its programs and ministry, Lord, that you make possible for us. So we pray your blessings on all of this, Lord, and we ask that you would inspire us to be more faithful. [00:44:15] (26 seconds)

And so they decide, first of all, they were going to kill Joseph. And so they decide, first of all, they were going to kill Joseph. And so they but then they decide that they would just sell him in to slavery. And so they sells him off to these Ishmaelites, and they take him down to Egypt, and they sell him into slavery there to this guy named Potiphar. [00:47:48] (17 seconds)

And so her husband, Potiphar, gets really angry, and he gets thrown into jail. And so it's a great story. It has a story arc, lots of highs and lows. And today, we're probably going to get to the biggest transition point in this story. On one hand, we get to, I think, where Joseph is at his lowest. [00:50:40] (25 seconds)

But what, but, but watch this because this, this is really kind of, you know, tragic in its way, because you see this desperation in Joseph. He's been in prison for a while now, and he sees a way out. And he sees a way out. And he sees a way out. And he sees a way out. And he sees a way out. [00:52:41] (14 seconds)

Have you ever felt forgotten? Have you ever had that experience? Maybe a friend or family member or co-worker you know you say hey you know can you do me a solid can you can you help me out here can you remember me and then suddenly you know they move on and they've completely forgotten forgotten you. [00:54:14] (24 seconds)
