#InThisBoatTogether
“So as we close, let me just remind us that we are all in the same boat, sailing toward the same destination, serving the same savior, empowered by the same holy spirit, committed to the same mission of making disciples of all nations. We are in this together. And so let us move forward together, encouraging one another, forgiving one another, praying for one another, loving one another, and above all else, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ, our captain and our lord.”

#EyesOnJesus
“``Faith means keeping your eyes on the Lord. Simon Peter was doing well, walking toward the Lord until he started looking at the circumstances instead of the Christ. And and if we as a church, if we're individuals, if we start looking at circumstances, we're gonna find ourselves in trouble. But if we'll keep our eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ, we'll find that he is our help, he is our hope, he is our way of moving through any storm that comes our way.”

#ChristWithYou
“Great effort, little progress, strong resistance. We've had those experiences, haven't we? You work hard, you give yourself to an important cause and you don't seem to be able to make much progress and resistance comes and it's frustrating. It can be discouraging. And in that moment, the Lord Jesus Christ comes. Friends, he is here with you now. He knows what the church is going through. He knows what is ahead of the church in the coming months and years. He is with you to assure you that you can make it with his help by his leadership.”

#EndureWithGod
“And so as Jesus sent them out, he saw that they were struggling with contrary winds. The storms had come up and this passage of scripture reminds us that Jesus' disciples then and us now are not exempted from life's storms. Those storms come to all of us. Seasons of calm and seasons of struggle come to every church, every marriage, every family, every believer. We must therefore be ready with God's help to endure the storm and make progress for him as he leads us.”
