Day 2: Clothed in White Linen
Zechariah saw Joshua the priest standing filthy before God. Satan accused him, but God replaced his stained clothes with clean linen. Like Joshua, believers are wrapped in holiness not because they’re perfect, but because Christ’s sacrifice makes them new. [01:08:09]
Holiness isn’t self-improvement—it’s God’s gift. He sees you through Jesus’ purity, not your failures. Just as Joshua couldn’t clean himself, we stop trying to earn what’s already given.
What “dirty clothes” do you still wear spiritually—shame, old habits, lies? Tear a scrap of paper symbolizing those rags. Throw it away. How might you live today if you believed God’s declaration over you?
“And the angel said to those who were standing before him, ‘Remove the filthy garments from him.’ And to him he said, ‘Behold, I have taken your iniquity away from you, and I will clothe you with pure vestments.’”
(Zechariah 3:4, ESV)
Prayer: Confess one lie you’ve believed about your identity, then thank God for His cleansing.
Challenge: Text a friend: “God sees you in white linen today. How can I remind you of that?”
