#EucatastropheIsComing
“``So I ask you today, will you be among those who testify to Jesus even when it costs you? Will you trust god's justice even when you don't see it? And will you rest in the promise that he will ultimately vindicate his name and his people? You see the fifth seal, It's not a seal of despair. Whatever you've thought about in the past, the fifth seal is not a seal of despair. It is a seal of hope. Because the one who opens it is the one who conquered death itself. And he has promised that one day, perhaps not on our timeline, but on his, that he will wipe away every tear. He'll judge every wrong and establish his kingdom forever. until then until then, wear the white robe, rest in his promises, and testify, Jesus is lord. The eucatastrophe is coming, and the happy ending belongs to those who endure.”

#BeStillTrustGod
“Now notice what this hymn does not say. It does not say, be happy, my soul, your troubles are over. It does not say be optimistic, my soul, everything will work out fine. And it does not offer false comfort of a prosperity gospel that promises health, wealth, and safety to the faithful. But instead, it says in two words, be still. Be still. That's what I was thinking of during the prayer this morning. Be still. Stop struggling. Stop demanding answers. Stop trying to fix this yourself. Listen to God and be still. And then it gives the reason. The Lord is on your side. Not above you, watching from a distance, not indifferent to your pain, but on my side, standing with you, fighting with you, present in the darkness even in that refrigerator moment.”

#SufferingIsNotTheEnd
“And when it's your moment to speak, do you know the same guy who turned the horror of the cross into the beautiful resurrection morning invites you to open your mouth? And that's the promise of the fifth seal. Your suffering is not the end of the story. Your death is not your defeat, and your blood shed for the testimony of Jesus is precious in God's sight, and God will vindicate you.”

#FaithfulUntilHeComes
“Now friends, listen to me right here. Listen, everybody. The day is coming when every hidden threat will be exposed and every tear is wiped away. But until then, the question is not merely how long, oh lord? But the question becomes, will I remain faithful until he comes? So fix your eyes on the throne. The lamb who was slain is still in control, and the answer is already written in heaven.”
